6 weeks old won’t nap

Anyone else’s baby refusing to nap? My little boy will only nap for 30 mins max during the day and honestly it’s draining me. He doesn’t like to be put down so it means having to hold him even when we are out.

Yep. My 5 week old daughter has been nap refusing for about two weeks now. She screams and gets really unsettled when we try to put her down for a nap (even contact naps now). If she wanted to be she could be awake for hours. It's been really stressful

6 week was the worst for us, he was refusing to nap, and would only stay asleep in my arms, refuse to stay in the buggy (sling was my savior). This week though he is doing so much better! He’s in such a good mood and falling asleep so much easier and he slept 6 hours straight 2 nights in a row! Fingers crossed stays like this! 🙈
Hang in there is probably a growth spurt! 🌱

Tbh not well, ive been really stressed about it. I feel like I'm constantly on edge to try to time naps and if she is napping I'm thinking about how long she will be asleep. Last couple nights she's started waking for two hours in the night too, so I now feel it's constantly trying to get her down 24hours a day. How are you?

Dehydrated over night?

My boy, 5 weeks old, has been sleeping really well through the night but woke up this morning with a dry nappy so I tickled his tummy with a wipe and he did a wee but it was not much and had the tiniest bit of urate crystals. I'll be contacting hv at 9 but does anyone have any suggestions? Should I be waking him for a night feed?
He slept 10:30pm till 5am which is great but I'm worried it's dehydrating him. Anyone had a similar experience?

Feeling paranoid 🤯

My brother was playing with my 9 month d and was just throwing him in the air… Im paranoid that he will get brain damage or something as I googled it and it said you shouldn’t throw them in the air. It wasn’t done roughly. He was just playing with him 😩🥺

Am I in the wrong ?

So me and my partner have an on going issue.
I have got up every night and every morning with our daughter ( 2half )
He doesn't get up till 9am He gets ready and goes to work around 9:30 - 9:45 so He spends about 15 minutes with us each morning. This is my problem 🙄 He turns round to me every time I bring this up and says I'm working on the road so I need my sleep unless you want me to have an accident. I'm angry all the time about his respons as I feel it's just an excuse for not getting up and spending time with us. He doesn't get back till around 7:30 or later each night so he doesn't get to see our daughter much as she is in bed by 8 - 8:30. So He will have about half hour if that. He then decides to come to bed about 1 or later so we don't see echother much but apparently that's my fault as I go up to bed as my daughter is normally up in the night and full awake by 6am.

Am i in the wrong for addressing He doesn't spend enough time with his daughter and he should get-up earlier to spend this time with her before work 🤷‍♀️( He only has one day a week off )

Is there TMI on here or am I just too sensitive?

I see a lot of posts about abuse, neglect, and honestly medical emergencies on here. One reason I stray from social media is because the lack of discernment of people.

Therapy is what some of these posts need to be directed towards. Calling the cops on a handful of others. I know we are hormonal and what not. But if you don’t want honest opinions and bluntness along with the more gentle moms of comfort. Is it too much to ask, “Should I post this? Do I really want a strangers opinion on this matter?”

And I could be wrong and that’s okay too.

Crying

Does anyone else’s baby just cry allll the time. I feel like the only time my baby doesn’t cry is when they’re asleep! She does have reflux but is on medication for this but I just feel like unless I hold her all day she just cries it’s so exhausting

Does anyone have a fully pitch black room for you/kids to sleep in? Does it help with sleep or eye tiredness?

So many gaps in our black out curtains or blinds means when its summer its never totally dark n at night there is some street light coming thru

Did a fully pitch black room help you or your kids with sleep?
