Threenager regression what in the ever living fuck

Firstly. Hope all you guys are well. I love popping back in here after months of quietness when we're all going through the next shitshow together and panicking πŸ˜…

Just to say. I have no idea who this small boy is who is tantrumming, screeching, screaming, defiant, stubborn, angry and at times ... Aggressive(?) I don't mean that but he has suddenly started throwing things when he's in a mega meltdown and I have no idea where it come from. He has turned from a very kind, gentle little dude to a loud AF monster 😳 refusing naps, refusing bed, getting up through the night, getting up stupidly early considering he was up through the night and didnt go to sleep til way after his usual time.

I miss him. The kind gentle version 😭 and for the first time in three years, I think I need a day off 😩 then I feel guilty saying that cause I love him so much and I know it's just another phase but my god. He's finding it hard and so the hell am I 😭

Heres to starting nursery next month πŸ€žπŸ»πŸ˜…

Same here jesus christ it's rough! It doesn't help that we also have a 10 week old but WOW this is hard.

He completely loses it like he's being possessed over the most minor things. Praying this phase gets easier 😩

Ive got a girl and for past two weeks I’ve been trying to find out some reliable information if this β€žnew version” of my daughter is here to stay because if yes then Jesus in heaven help me. She literally shouts at me, she is rude, hits me..like what in fresh hell is this?! She was the kindest nicest child and we never did anything to change this. She wants everything her way. I don’t even know how to approach this. I was on the plane with her and I was so embarrassed- she was treating me like a peasant and shouting at me. I’m being firm and she just shouts louder. Nothing helps.

It's brutal isn't it. Absolute props to all those of you who have newborns/younger kids to contend with too. I'm truly done with my one πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

would you call CPS on your neighbours who you can clear as day hear through the vents β€œstop hitting me daddy”?

for the record, I have called. I just want to know other people’s thoughts and opinions. I was hesitant to call, because they’ve made false statements about me abusing my kids (and I don’t). what they saw and claimed was I abuse my kids because I grabbed our 2.5y old’s arm from running across the STREET when the bus was coming & from going over where they kept open canisters of weed, a bong, cigarettes and alcohol. heaven forbid I keep my child SAFE… but no that β€˜s abuse to them.

Is there something wrong with me?

My partner is great, he's emotionally mature, understanding, provides as much as he can and he's quite sweet and sentimental. We definitely have a "golden retriever/black cat" dynamic because I am quite blunt, sassy, direct and nonchalant. We've been together for a year and met when I was pregnant (my son's sperm donor has not been in the picture since I ended it at 10 weeks pregnant). I never really expected a relationship to happen when we met but it did and he's got an amazing relationship with my son and sees him as his own. I've struggled with PPD and PPA severely since having my son and he's been there trying his best to help me get through it - like everyone says to me that he's a great man and to keep him etc and I agree, I love him a lot and can't actually see my future without him.

The issue is my actions are not mirroring how I feel in my opinion. I feel like get frustrated with him so easily. We don't live together and because of his work schedule sometimes he's around so much and sometimes I just don't see him. He always says he's going to try to be around more and I think I just keep getting disappointed by him. And he really tries to help when he's here by washing dishes and bottles and cleaning up but a lot of the times the bottles still have dried milk left at the bottom when I go to use them and stuff and it's so frustrating because I keep having to repeat myself - it seems like the time we spend together is me complaining about him offering to do things and then doing it half assed and I feel really bad.

Sometimes when he calls I just don't want to talk because I'm always tired looking after the bubba or he calls me late at night or when I'm trying to sleep and I just find it annoying - I try to be understanding about his work schedule but sometimes I find myself getting annoyed by it and that fact that he doesn't know how to say no to his boss and ends up working ridiculous hours.

We also have little clashes about superficial things like grooming and the clothes that he wears and sometimes hygiene - just stuff like wearing work clothes outside of work and just generally looking presentable when we go to see family or something (but I was raised by a mum who wore heels to the supermarket so that's probably just me πŸ˜‚) but sometimes I find myself wondering what it would be like to be with someone else who understands these values that I have and I feel bad. I just feel like I love him but just not as much as he loves me ? Maybe I just don't appreciate him enough? Or is it also to do with postpartum hormones ?

Sorry for the rant πŸ˜‚

Are there any Mums who will be teaching their little one reading BEFORE any school?

I know I always see Mums saying that they are leaving it up to the teachers for when their little starts school. However, are there any Mums teaching reading before that instead? We have been teaching our toddler words here and there in his favorite books and will do more as he gets older. We just want to give him the best start and also it is easier for us to teach him where we can offer one on one... Which I know can be difficult in school, when there is a class full of children

Anyone else angry 24/7?🀣

Gosh I am so angry and irritated all the time. Sometimes I have no reason to be but I feel like I can’t help it especially with my partner. He is so gentle, loving and patient but any little thing he does sets me off. I feel terrible! Anyone going through this?

Teachers (or other mandated reporters) would you do anything about a minor being forced to attend church?

You know about this situation because the minor keeps privately expressing to you that they don't want to go and have tried everything to avoid it. The minor claims they are manipulated with guilt and threats of losing privileges at home when they don't want to go, if neither of those work then they are physically escorted to the car and to the church. The minor has started staying after school to vent about this situation and to avoid being at home.

Would you be upset?

I had to go out for 1 hour and left my 3 year old with my partner (his dad) and when I come back he was asleep on the sofa and my 3 year old was playing on the floor. All is ok, but I feel angry he was unsupervised!??
