My son is 4 about to be 5. I’m so tired of this life . I miss waking up in silence . I miss going for myself without no distractions. I thought motherhood would be exciting but I dread it . I work a shift I don’t want to . I can’t travel I can’t do much . I miss myself before I had a kid and I feel so selfish like bad karma will happen because I’m tired of being a parent. Everything involves my kid . I just feel weak and vulnerable. I hate that I had a kid with someone I wouldn’t even touch again . I hate this life . I wake up miserable everyday. My son deserves a happy mom . I hate this life god why was I so stupid

I wish I had advice but what I can offer is the fact you are not alone in this feeling, I thought I would love being a mom and I do love my child but its ALOT

Something that has helped me is a gym with childcare. Even if you just go lay on a yoga mat for 2 hours with headphones! 😂🤍 hang in there!

Do you believe in God?

I was just having a conversation with my gf yesterday and I literally said I’m tired of being a mom. My son will be 5 in sept and I just divorced his dad this year and there’s been so many days where I have felt this way even though I truly do love my son. I miss when he was a baby and I always felt like I had every box checked with everything… You are not alone in this I promise you!

I think you need to tell a trusted person about this irl. You’d be surprised how much of this is not that uncommon! I think you’d also be surprised how common it is to get help, feel better, and move past these feelings.
I also think talking to your doctor would be a decent idea… a lot of what you’re feeling might classify as depression and therapy and/or medication might help pretty quickly! Depression is definitely a possibility. I think an even bigger possibility is lack of support. You are not alone and I’ve been there. I’d love to keep talking to you about this, but I hope you have ONE person in your life you can talk to as well and hopefully troubleshoot some ways to feel more supported. To be able to do something alone, just for you.
I didn’t hear you say you even dislike your child! What I did hear you say is that you feel your son deserves better. None of that makes you a bad mom, btw! In fact the opposite.

I’m sorry love I feel for you just take breaks when you can and connect with friends which is what you’re doing now . Nappping, FaceTiming other mommas, drinking wine , watching your favorite shows are all good coping skills. Take it day by day mama you got this! ❤️

Motherhood was never supposed to feel like that. Unfortunately we live in a country with very little support because everyone is fighting their own battles. Try to find a village. Try to go on walks with other moms around your area. 💗
