No sex drive

Since giving having my baby in 2025 my sex drive has completely vanished. I can’t lie it’s not been huge in the latter few years of our relationship (we’ve been together 11) but now I quite literally dread when my partner initiates sex.

It’s got the point where he point blanks asks me “can we have sex tonight” which I hate as I immediately feel under pressure. If I come up with an excuse or say I’m not in the mood he’s usually feeling rejected but then brings it up again the following day literally the moment he gets in from work and the cycle starts again.

Eventually when I am like yeah ok I literally hate every moment of it, nothing feels pleasurable and I just want it to be over. He tries his best to try to get me to enjoy it but there is nothing he could do. If he tries foreplay everything feels over sensitive like he’s tickling me rather than touching me intimately and I have to tell him to stop.

Since having my baby (c section 2025) I have been diagnosed with an audio immune disease called hashimotos which is hypothyroidism, I’m not sure if this is a contributing factor but I have no idea where to go from here.

I quite genuinely feel miserable and struggle to find joy in anything other than my daughter and reading books 🤷

I can really recommend ’Come as you Are’ by Emily Nagoski- a brilliant book that could help you figure out what you want intimacy to look like now, what is keeping you from enjoying it and what might help.

Looking for friends 🙂

Hi everyone! My name is Emily, and I’m hoping to make some new friends—for both myself and my little ones. 😊

I’m a mom to a wonderful 2-year-old son, 5 year old son, and 11 year old daughter. we’d love to meet other parents and kids for play dates, trips to the park, story time, or just getting out of the house together. Being a parent can sometimes feel a little isolating, so I’m hoping to build some meaningful friendships with people who are in a similar stage of life.

I’m pretty easygoing and enjoy good conversation, coffee, and making memories with my kids. If you’re looking for new friends too, I’d love to connect! Feel free to say hi or send me a message. I live in the south shore area!

Ugh, feel so lost, so empty, so unaccomplished

I know it's social media that's mainly contributing to this feeling but I can't seem to shake it.

Logged on today & an influencer I follow has started a second business & it just feels like everyone is doing well & making a lot of money & I just feel so incredibly stuck in life.

No idea what it is I want to do with my life. In a job I dislike, applied for a job - didn't get it, in a living situation with my ex that I can't afford to leave, I'm struggling with friendships, I feel like I'm being a terrible distant mum to my daughter, my body won't give me a break - no matter how many times I shower/do bodycare routines, I seem to always smell funky plus I'm gaining weight cuz I'm comfort eating. Ugh😒 Everything is just getting to me & I just don't want to be here anymore. I'm tired of it all.

Searching for My Mom Bestie — Let’s Build a Real Friendship 💕

Hey mamas! 🌸 I’m hoping to find a genuine bestie who’s also looking for a meaningful friendship. Someone to share the little moments with, talk about life, laugh until our cheeks hurt, and support each other through the beautiful chaos of motherhood. 🫶

I’d love to connect with a mom who enjoys good conversations, sharing ideas, celebrating wins, and being there through the ups and downs. Whether it’s chatting about mom life, goals, hobbies, or just having a friend to check in with, I’m here for it. 💕

Friendship doesn’t always happen by chance sometimes we have to put ourselves out there. So if you’re looking for a kind, supportive, and genuine mom friend too, say hi! 😊✨
