Hi everyone! My name is Emily, and I’m hoping to make some new friends—for both myself and my little ones. 😊

I’m a mom to a wonderful 2-year-old son, 5 year old son, and 11 year old daughter. we’d love to meet other parents and kids for play dates, trips to the park, story time, or just getting out of the house together. Being a parent can sometimes feel a little isolating, so I’m hoping to build some meaningful friendships with people who are in a similar stage of life.

How would you approach this?

My ex cheated on me while I was pregnant. A few weeks after I gave birth, the girl he cheated on me with, reached out to me at 4 in the morning saying she’s great with kids and that she has a son of her own and that she’d be a loving mother to them while my kids are with her and my ex and that I have nothing to worry about. She asked to meet me and everything and said she has nothing but respect for me. Only to find out that it was my ex using a burner phone to text me. For context, before any parenting agreement was made, my kids visited their father with the agreement that no new partners were to be introduced to them without my knowledge. (He violated that hence why we now have a parenting agreement in place assigned by the courts). I ended up not meeting her and then she ended up dropping my kids off and tried to enter my home as if we’re cool like that. I told her to leave and that this was wildly inappropriate and her response was “wow you are a bitter baby mama”. Like wtf? This was months ago but it still just makes me irritated.

Heartbreak

I’m preparing myself to bring my little boy up on my own after a breakdown in relationship this week but the father of my baby has gone missing and I’m beside myself I haven’t slept all night.
