How are we handling our depression. Today is a bad day. I don’t want to be here anymore. I have no friends. No one understands what I’m going through. When does this end.

I finally went and got put on anxiety meds. It's been steadily getting better. It helps when I do things to try to get my mind off of the sad thoughts.

Message me if you'd like but if you can take a shower, eat a snack, listen to a song you like over and over.

I am/was in the trenches of ppd and post partum rage. I am 4.5 months post partum with twins and am just starting to see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.
Don’t give up and please seek help through whatever means you have available to you! I know what it’s like to suffer and feel like no one understands or they just expect you to be “over it” by now.
If you ever need to talk, shoot me a message!

medication.
I spoke with my obgyn, explained the same thing. That I could never actually hurt myself but that I wanted to. And that I thought about it frequently. And she listened and acted quickly. She prescribed me anxiety/depression medication and helped me find a therapist as well who I see on a weekly basis. My daughter is 20 months and I sought help about 2 months ago. It's been life changing. I still get that deep depression sometimes, but it's not nearly as often or bad.
If you need someone to talk to, please reach out.
PPD is isolating and so scary. I went through it alone, CHOOSING to not tell ANYONE (not even my spouse) and it was so detrimental to my health.
You are NOT alone. And there is nothing wrong with you.
You'll get through this. The light is a pinhole right now but keep walking and that light will come to you. ❤️

Sounds kinda corny but make sure you’re meeting basic needs first & that means vitamins, water, sun, protein, water etc. exercise too. Just force yourself to go on a walk or something if you can. Might as well try these things first before deciding on meds but meds are always good if you feel like your depression is not situational. Being a new mom, or a mom in general is hard as fuck idc what anyone says. It’s the biggest life adjustment you can have! I like to think about the future when I feel like this. I imagine her walking across the stage at graduation & being so proud or whatever you want to imagine. And remember, if your partner sucks, seek more friendship asap! Seek therapy too. It’s good to get it out and find someone that you can talk to. It’ll get better babe!

Do what makes you feel good
