How would you deal with this? Horrible comments about my child :(

I was at a softplay today and with my children including my nearly 2 year old (a girl) wearing pink sparkly girls clothes and pink shoes... well an older lady said aww I think "He" wants to play with his sister and I said yes "She" probaboy does i'm just taking her shoes off and no I wasnt abrupt or anything... and i looked at my daughter and smiled and said come on Elsie... to which she loudly says to the person she is with in a horrible way oh my god its a girl can you believe that its a girl, it looks like a boy and not even a cute boy and honestly I am so heartbroken like why are people so horrible? And to a child, I just could never and I hate to say it but it is not the first time I have had something like this :(

Im also worried because her hair has stopped growing and we found out it could be her condition and medication causing it too so now im worried for her as people obviosly are not always kind

I am the type thats EXTREMELY vocal... and quite frankly I am not very polite when people are being jerks.
I would or would have said something like "I don't go around assuming your a female or male based on your appearance. More important you don't have the right to comment on my childs appearance."

I would’ve said something. That’s rude and disrespectful. I have someone tell me my son looked like a girl. He had a lot of hair early on and while out shopping someone stopped me to say he was so cute. “Awww she’s so cute how old?” I said thank you he’s 2 months old ( this was very newly post partum and I was a little crazy) they continued to saw. “Oh really?! wow he looks like a girl. He’s too pretty” I then very loudly said. “Why are you so concerned with what’s in my child’s diaper?!” They looked appalled that I would take it there and stormed off. I will never understand why people can’t just accept the correction.

People are ignorant and just don't know what to say out of your mouth sometimes especially older people who feel entitled that they have to say anything and everything that comes to mind. When my son had hair a lot of people used to say oh she's so cute and I am just like oh it's a boy and just keep it moving. Don't fall into that trap and get you out of character

Screaming baby🙃.

So how do I let my neighbours know that I’m not torturing my baby? He’s just hungry for actual food but doesn’t understand he can’t eat and have his hands in his mouth at the same time so is screaming blue murder🤦🏼‍♀️😂

What would you do in this case?

My husband has mental health issues, so has left us and moved back with his mum and siblings. So the last two years I’ve been solely caring for our children who’s both under 5. He does chip in at times, but he’s always so depressed.

The mum made our life hell before. So my husband doesn’t speak to her. So she calls me now and then ( we still try to visit her and son stays over some weekends). But I think she is still under the impression that I need to visit her every week. ( my husband does not stay at home during the day, he prefers staying out) so I will just be with her and the kids and the siblings etc.

Would you voluntarily want to visit her?
I am worried if I don’t, then she will deny my husband staying there- which means more stress for us. But then that’s her son, and she should still try do something?

Do you think something is wrong with a 6+ month old if they are waking at night?

Aka means they need to eat more food and they shouldn't be given water or formula at night, so they sleep 8-12 hours straight.

I just find it wild that people don't think it's normal for a 6+ month old to wake up during the night...

Mom guilt..

Just found out I’m pregnant with #2 (planned). However I’m in a state of sadness and feel like I’m letting down my firstborn. He’s 2 1/2 and will be 3 years and some change when #2 is born. I’ve always wanted 3 kids but this mom guilt is killing me. I feel like I won’t love second baby as much or that I’ll neglect my firstborn during those newborn days.
We keep asking him if he wants baby brother or sister and he as ALWAYS said sister and now I’m worried if it’s a brother he won’t like him 😂 I’m an emotional wreck and just need advice to calm my hormones down.
