Is 10am too early for a 6 year old birthday party?

It’s a pizza making party and that’s the time before the restaurant opens properly at 11:30.

My daughter is 6, we’ve been to several parties beginning at 9.30am so no, I wouldn’t say it’s too early.

Earlier the better. I’ve learnt that lesson after having a party at 4pm and having my daughter get super upset because she essentially waited all day for it despite doing other fun stuff beforehand.

Their 6 not 16, it's fine lol

I think early is best, fresh morning energy rather than afternoon chaos. That's a great party idea btw

No I don’t think so 10am makes sense I would assume the pizzas would be ready for them to eat at 12pm so perfect lunch?

True think I’m overthinking it ☺️ thank you ladies

Personally I’d find it annoying because why am I waking up early on a non-school day🤣🤣 but not too early just not ideal lol

How long does your “adult time” usually last?!

My husband is convinced that going for an hour plus every time is normal and that I should be thrilled. I prefer a good 15 to 20 max start to finish. I rarely am in the mood cause I know i’m about to lose a full hour to hour and a half of personal time especially since we have two small children so my personal time is precious 😩. Do you guys have hour long sessions all the time or is this abnormal and i’m actually not crazy for not enjoying it?! It’s also not every now and again it’s EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Are there such things as an “inappropriate” name for a baby?

Examples - names of cities, word spelled backwards, names of tv characters, etc.

Or is there no such thing as a wrong/ inappropriate name?

*Not referring to curse words as names..

Would you be upset: no midwives showed up for their appointments and no one was told

I was supposed to have my 34 week appointment today where my anemia was going to be checked and she was going to follow up on my VBAC consultation that I been trying to get. I got to the GP and another expectant Mum advised me that no midwives have shown up and she had been waiting since 9:30 (it was 10:15) and the GP didn't know what was going on. So, we both rang maternity and it turns out that the midwife clinic was cancelled today (no illnesses or anything)... However, no one was told. I am a bit upset because I have concerns at the moment and have been waiting a few weeks to get a VBAC appointment. Just wondering if anyone else would be a bit upset at this, after travelling there especially if you are in a lot of pain? They said they can only apologize (which is true not their fault) and try to rebook as soon as they can.

Growth scans?

First time pregnancy - low risk. Have had scans at 12 and 20 weeks but see everyone talking about having growth scans booked in. Not been mentioned to me at all so just wondering if everyone has these or if it’s just if you’re higher risk? Seems mad i could go from 20 weeks to giving birth with no other scans!
