Guys I need some help/ideas to keep on top of house chores, appointments, food shopping etc. I feel like we’re drowning at the minute and it’s making me feel really stressed out. Hubby is helping as much as he can but it’s still not enough. It’s getting more difficult to put little one down to put a wash on for example. We’re not sitting down until after half 8 in the evening as it is. And still all our beds are in desperate need of a change but I just can’t find the time.
What do your routines look like day to day?
I know this will get easier in the future (I’ve got a toddler) but right now I’m at a loss.

No set routine here. My eldest will be 2 in Dec. We organise an online food shop each week, plan the recipes for it. Bonus if its slow cooker or can be batch cooked. When we find time after both in bed we will batch cook and freeze meals for the week. Organise bags/lunches night before.
I try set 1 cleaning task a day, even if i can only get half done. Sometimes I just have to accept baby might be unhappy for 5/10mins. Right now our house feels a mess until the weekend when me and partner are here and we tag team it over the weekend.
Im also in the conundrum of not being able to put baby down, cant baby wear atm either x

We have a running list of essentials on the fridge and meal plan for the week so we can do a food shop order once a week. Things like milk/bread I can always pick up on my way back from walks. Currently my baby will only sleep for long on me (typical of her age) so when she's awake I pop her in her bouncer in the room I'm tackling and she watches me for a good 15 min until she starts complaining and then we go play until it's feed/nap time. My husband and I do a quick tidy of common areas after bedtime... Bathrooms get done on the weekend, I just feel it's too much chemicals and sprays to do while she's with me.

We meal plan for the week so that the weekly shop is quick, we actually do it on a Saturday as we find if my toddler is involved he eats more. We batch cook meals for nursery nights as they’re chaos.
I try and whizz the hoover round of an evening and pick a cleaning task a day (doesn’t always happen) so that it feels more manageable, cleaning the whole house at once just doesn’t happen anymore. I do a wash load every other day to keep on top of things so I feel less overwhelmed.
We have a calendar on the wall which tracks everyone’s clubs/ groups/ appointments etc this is a life saver as I wouldn’t know if I’m coming or going otherwise!
We divide and conquer so one of us will watch the kids while one of us cleans/ does the washing/ cooks. In the daytime if I wanna do a wash/ get something done I do it in babies nap and take my toddler along for the ride.
I find I feel better mentally if indoors is organised so I try to keep on top of things the best you can in this season x

Food shop delivery weekly, load of washing on every morning or put on before bed on a delay timer so it's ready to hang out in the morning

We have the time tree app as a family calendar, we both can access it and colour code things to whoever it relates to
