My husband’s mum was diagnosed with breast cancer yesterday, but the doctors think it’s early stage. They said it’s treatable, but to be 100% sure they need to do a few more tests, which they’re doing.
Anyway, my husband is acting like his mum is definitely going to die, and I’m starting to get annoyed. Does that make me a bad person?

You're not a bad person - it sounds like you're exhausted! - but I'd say you need to have some empathy here.

I mean, if you truly want honesty I don’t think you’re a bad person. But it’s only been one day since a cancer diagnosis….. I would be beside myself if either of mine were diagnosed no matter what stage. I think you need to cut him some slack.

Agreed. Your obviously feeling very emotional which is allowed but be mindful how he’s feeling to x
