I regret being a mom

I’m in the absolute 2u2 trenches (20 month old and 2.5 month old). I am in the early stages of leaving my partner of almost 4 years. And I absolutely regret being a mom. And that’s really hard for me to admit because I have wanted to be one for so long. I hate admitting it out loud. But I absolutely regret it. I wish I could just give the girls full custody to their dad because I feel so tapped out. But there’s no way he’d be able to with his work schedule and be able to provide them a happy healthy childhood. But I just wanted to say out loud I regret being a mom. I hope I’m wrong later in life but right now I am in the trenches and I’m struggling and I have no one to talk to or ask for genuine help. My friends don’t have kids or are longing to have one. My OB doesn’t care I feel this way and is not doing any bloodwork to check my levels. He did this last time too when I was severely depressed with my first born. no psychiatrist who can give me mental pills to help this take my government insurance and I can’t pay out-of-pocket because I can hardly afford anything to even keep my girls alive and happy. I’m in therapy once a week because that’s all my schedule allows. I just feel so lost and alone. But at least I have my girl gang which is a toddler who speaks the language of nothing and nonsense so there’s a language barrier between us. And an infant who just cries almost constantly, and doesn’t even want to be around me.

Right now, you’re in the trenches. You hate this present moment and how hard it feels. That doesn’t mean you hate motherhood or love your children any less. Give yourself grace. Things will get better. ❤️‍🩹

You’re in the trenches. Mine have a similar gap, 19 months. I never felt that I regretted it during that time, but I absolutely felt overwhelmed and exhausted everyday. I promise it gets better ♥️

Sex in pregnancy

Since becoming pregnant I completely lost my drive. Since being in the 3rd trimester, I’m struggling more and more…I feel like I’m just surviving right now. My partner last night told me we haven’t done the deed for 3 weeks…even though I’m pretty sure we did it last week. Someone is losing track of time, I’m not sure if it’s me or him😆he has expressed many many times about how sexually frustrated he is and how much he misses it, so I can understand how it could feel like forever for him. But I just don’t think he understands how things are for me. How do I get him to truly understand and sympathise? Yesterday I asked if we could try to do the deed to encourage labour (I’m 38 weeks & getting fed up). But I’m still working a physical job full time, got home at 6pm. I’m barely sleeping so I’m SHATTERED. My pelvis was in AGONY, it gets worse throughout the day so it’s at its worst by evening. I was having period cramps (which I get every night, I always think maybe Labor is on its way but it disappears by morning🫤). I had super bad heartburn and actually had acid/vomit coming up my throat. Felt super breathless, almost like I had asthma. I’m sitting here fighting for my life with 100 things going on😆and all he’s thinking is “she told me we were having sex tonight”. So he got annoyed and moody. We didn’t speak for 4 hours & both just went to sleep. I think a lot of the time he thinks I’m making up excuses to avoid it (but I’m really not). I just CANNOT get myself in the mood when I’m struggling with countless things? I think he forgets there’s a whole ass 7lb baby inside me. It’s hard work🤣the pressure to have sex is starting to annoy & stress me out to be honest. I understand he has needs & it must be annoying. But he needs to remember everything has changed for me, everything is difficult and uncomfortable. Nothing has changed for him. No pain. No hormones. No giant belly. Still the same energy levels. Still sleeping. How do I get him to understand this ??? It just doesn’t go in. We’ll discuss it then the next day he’ll hint that I don’t fancy him anymore Because of this.

He got caught cheating at 38 weeks

I’m around 38 weeks pregnant and my husband finishes work at 12 and wasn’t answering calls or texts and I needed him home to help with the kids as planned each Friday afternoon. I looked on find my iPhone and realised he had driven 40 min the wrong way to home and was in a car park outside an appartment block. I still didn’t suspect but every half hour I checked and still there. He was there 3 hours. Then I became suspicious. We’ve been together 7 years and have 2 other kids and baby due
I confronted him and he denied. Said he was talking to a guy friend about his struggles in life. I wasn’t sure so that night I went looking and found out he had been messaging (although all deleted) for about 2 weeks and the last 4 nights been staying up late doing 2 hours FaceTimes. I found out it’s a girl he met briefly at work. He later confessed that the time they met up he did a kiss to her but apparently wasn’t recieved well.
He says he has fallen out of love with me as we’ve lost our connection 7 years 3 kids etc. and this girl had been given him a portal to talk about things he doesn’t talk to me about.
He says it started off as a friend 2 weeks ago and a week later he has feelings but supposedly she doesn’t.

I later caught a purchase of a SIM card after he said he would never talk to her again. I found it before he had enacted it and he said he just wanted to talk to her again to say sorry bye etc. should I believe that?

Should I trust him ? Stay with him etc? 2 weeks of feelings and a kiss ? Should I believe it was entirely therapy based or entirely romantic etc

Online Postpartum Therapist contact

Anyone got a contact for a postpartum therapist that isnt insanely expensive? Everything ive looked at is 100+ per session 😅 which just isn't feasible.

Better help is cheaper but you need to commit to weekly sessions so it ends up being 100s aswell. I used to go t9 a therapist for 40-60 per session and went twice a month and it was great, I know that's on the cheap end of the spectrum but surely ppl with lower income should have access to these things?!

Has anybody used free cash to try and get a bit of extra money and was it worth it?

I'd love to hear people's experience if you've got any.
