The mum guilt is seriously starting to affect me. I keep crying at the thought these are literally the last final weeks of just me and my daughter. Then the baby is going to come and then next year she’s off to school so that’s “just us” basically over. I just can’t handle it. My heart is breaking 😭

I'm exactly the same. It's killing me 😭

I don't have any advice, but very much feeling the same 😭
A lot of people have said though that we're giving them the best gift we ever could in a sibling so I'm trying to cling onto that
I'm sure once these babies arrive, we'll feel differently 🫶🏻

My daughter is only 18 months will be nearly 21 by the time my son is born but honestly the thought of her growing up and not being just us is such a touchy subject at the moment it makes me so upset. I feel like although shes still little just being a big sister is going to make her seem so much bigger

Exactly the same boat here! Just gone 3yr old, baby due mid September. Little one goes to School next September. I think the mum guilt is completely normal. A part of us is starting to mourn our current life/situation knowing it's going to change. My little girl goes to nursery, and I've decided to send her term time only as of September and then I will have the whole of next years summer holidays with her before she starts school. Baby will then have some settling in days before September next year meaning we will get some Mummy and Daughter days just to ourselves. She is very excited to become a big sister, and I know she will adapt quickly to our new life. Kids are more resilient than we give them credit for 💞
