Please tell me I’m not a bad mum 💔

Before any comes at me, I took him to the doctors immediately to be checked over and he’s absolutely fine. I however feel sick to my stomach. I was getting ready with my little one on the bed. I ran into his room to get him some clothes, which is what I always do as he usually just stays in one spot playing. Not even a minute after I left the room, I hear a bang and an immediate cry. My angel had fallen off the bed. I don’t know how it happened and I’m an absolute idiot to have left him but it was just another day I didn’t think anything of it. My partner was at work else he would’ve been in the room with him. He cried for a couple minutes while I held him, he had nothing but a small bruise on his nose. Never have I ever had such a quick adrenaline rush. My heart has sank and I cried with him. Never again will I leave him on his own or at least on the bed on his own. I’ll always resort to the floor now unless he’s with me. I can’t stop picturing him on the floor in tears, I’m absolutely heartbroken. God please someone tell me I’m not a bad mum 😭

You’re not a bad mum. I always say that you’re not really a parent til your kid falls off the bed! Honestly a majority of us have had the exact same thing happen!

You’re not a bad mom! I had a similar thing happen to me I set him in his chair and didn’t buckle it because I was going across the room to grab his bottle and as soon as I turned around bam he fell oh his face. Took him to the doctor everything was fine. Honestly I don’t think I’ll ever get over that feeling of my heart dropping to my stomach but you not a bad mom it happens to all of us!

Who is in the wrong?

Car seat has been in my car for the last week. Husband switched it over this morning to take our baby to nursery but didn't tell me. I left the house to pick him up this afternoon and the car seat was obviously missing. Had to hand (upset) baby back to nursery and go back and get it.

We do have another car seat in the house which he could have taken, but he took the one out of my car.

I'm angry but should I be? He says I should have checked the car seat was in the car before I left but I had no reason to think it wouldn't be! Am I expected.to check every single time, when he could have just told me he took it out 🙄

relationship breakdown

ladies, I am so stuck. me and my partner have been close to breaking up a few times due to online infidelity on his part, for the sake of our little one and him saying he didn't wanna lose me we stayed together.. but now I'm just ugh, I'm so scared to leave because there's no way I can afford my home by myself - UC probably won't help with the majority of my rent as I'm in a 3 bed, but because my other son's dad claims the CB he's not recognised as living with me (long story!) my little man is breastfed, and just I don't know what to do. 😭
I'm a bit messy, always have been and I try to do as much tidying as I can but it's never good enough and it seems that he holds no accountability for his actions in this relationship and that it's all me.
any advice? :(

Is the Tonies Box worth it?

Please comment with your experience and include the age of your child 💜 if you could explain how they interact with it that would be great too!

Screen time when they're ill

We have a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old. We try to limit screen time as much as we can and only do TV (no tablets or phone screens). They can watch a Julia Donaldson film or a few episodes of Bluey at the weekends and the odd 30 mins if needed during the week but not every day or anything.

They both have a stomach bug at the moment and feel rubbish with cramps, etc. I'm letting them do what I would want to do, which is curl up on the sofa and watch TV. However, I'm so conscious that when this passes, I'm going to have a nightmare cutting the TV out again. Do other parents do this and throw rules out the window when their kids are ill?!

Family members overstaying their welcome

Anyone else’s family members visit and just not…leave? My mother came over to see the kids this afternoon, kids are now in bed, and she’s still just sat here? This is mine and my husbands time and she just hangs about, telling us pointless information, never shutting tf up. Pls tell us how to kindly tell her to f off.

Caught my boyfriend out

7 weeks since my second c section and I have just caught my partner out looking at naked girls and talking to them on his phone.

I hate my body as it is and am ashamed of it and now he’s done this..I’m so angry, I’m heart broken. I didn’t feel good enough as it was and now I feel so worthless.

Why am I not good enough, worst thing is if I hadn’t of caught him how much longer would he of lied to me😢
