What the hell

My daughter is usually so kind, happy, clever and just amazing.
But these last few weeks have been AWFUL. Whining for me even when i am there!
there are a multitude of factors but I'm not sure which could be the main cause. The biggest things are
1) 18 month regression? My friend said her son was super needy and clingy and it lasted months.
2) a month ago we did another go at ivf and during the wait period I tried to be a bit more hands off to allow the embryo the best chance to implant.
3)18 month jabs last week
4) i am a teacher and she only does term time only in nursery, i have kept her in 1 day a week for familiarity but she has essentially had 3 weeks of more of me.

Anyone else going through similar? I've never wanted to be back at work this soon into the holidays 😅 she is just super whiney all the time - where has my lovely little girl gone 😅

It could be to do with the IVF jabs. They give off and help produce more hormones that your little one is reacting to which can make them clingy it also happens during the last couple of weeks of pregnancy and could explain the behaviour

Honestly mine is the same, she is absolutely feral this past month and I've heard it's just before they have a vocabulary boom

Does your 2/3 year old like playing touching their vigina?

She normally does it when she is naked waiting to be bathed or dressed. I am not so worried about her doing it at home, as it is a safe place. But i get worried if she does it at nursery or anywhere else... anyone else experienced this and what do you advise please?

16 month stopped talking

i’m a little worried about my 16 month old son. he was saying mama, dada, baba and head then a few weeks ago started only saying dada and is now barely even saying that. he still responds to his name but not as much and he also doesn’t point at things and never has. i took him to the doctors and they don’t seem to concerend but i can’t help but worry! has anyone else experienced this and what was the outcome?

At a loss

Hello,

My 11 month old has been waking like every hour and a half at night and I’m struggling, we co sleep and breastfeed , she cannot fall asleep without being latched onto me, kind of a bad habit I’ve let happen so my partner cannot help, she hates the cot we’ve tried multiple times, has anyone been in the same position and actually got more sleep? I’m mentally drained now :(

Getting Stuff Done

My little girl is nearly 4 weeks old. When I am home alone with her, I am really struggle to get stuff done around the house. I feel like all I do all day, every day is sit on the sofa watching the TV while she's asleep next to me in her moses basket, or feeding, burping and changing her when she's awake.

HELP! When does it get easier to leave your baby alone in a room so you can get stuff done?

Are they gaslighting me?

I’m 10 weeks having my first baby and I’m really not loving pregnancy at all. I’ve never been this exhausted in my life and still have to work full time. And my sisters, mum and partner have all said similar things like ‘you’re only a couple months’ and ‘it’s still early it gets worse’ trying to essentially say it can’t be that bad yet because you’re not pregnant enough. And I’ve never felt more alone in anything in my life. My partner is so supportive but when it comes to this he just cannot understand what I’m going through. So I have no one to vent to without feeling judged. When I talk about my pregnancy I see my sisters eyes all glaze over like ‘here she goes again’ as if it’s not the biggest change in my entire life. Just feel lonely.
