Hey! I’m a first time mum going to nursery viewings tomorrow and Tuesday and just wanted some suggestions for questions to ask as I feel completely out of my depth but at the same time like it’s the most important decision I’ve had to make so far. Anything you can think of or that you wish you’d asked or looked for in advance would be super helpful. Thank you so much 💕🙏

I do think you know the right one when you see it. It’s definitely a feeling.
I’d say you defs want to see it when there are kids there so you can see if they are happy.
Then it’s what’s important to you. For us it was that food was prepared on site and they had a cook. And the outside space. We wanted forest school on site etc. you can ask about the curriculum, how they communicate with parents - the good and the bad. Parents evening? App or verbal update on pick up? Or both? Staff to children ratio. How they determine when a child moves up classes. Staff turnover - happy staff often means happy children. Do they have CCTV? What is the security like etc.
