Mourning 3 years later

My daughters father died 3 years ago from a drug overdose/suicide. I still cry and listen to our song. We werent together when he died but we were very close and practically best friends co parenting (no he was not an acitive addict he just used it to commit suicide). Its just really sad i couldn't save him and he didnt open up to me.

My husband now of 2 years loves my daughter and our 2 children together. And is very supportive when i have a night where im just dancing to our song in the kitchen.

Friday will be 3 years since he passed. Anyone have any tips on how to deal with grief?

I'm so sorry for your loss, the only advice I have is to let yourself feel it, exactly as you are doing. You will see him in her everyday and I can't imagine how impossible that must be. The pain will always be there, it just gets a bit easier to deal with as time goes on ❤️ sending you strength xx

I’m so sorry for your loss! I suggest reaching out to a therapist to see if they can offer individual and group therapy for grief . 💕

I lost my oldest daughter father last July he shot himself in the head…we weren’t on the best terms but it still hurt. I know he wanted the best for her but didn’t know how. Sometimes I still think about if it’s something I could’ve done was it something I could’ve said was it something I said…but I try to hope he’s in a better place he’s no longer suffering and he’s finally able to breathe easier and see what life has to offer him.

Does your 2/3 year old like playing touching their vigina?

She normally does it when she is naked waiting to be bathed or dressed. I am not so worried about her doing it at home, as it is a safe place. But i get worried if she does it at nursery or anywhere else... anyone else experienced this and what do you advise please?

At a loss

Hello,

My 11 month old has been waking like every hour and a half at night and I’m struggling, we co sleep and breastfeed , she cannot fall asleep without being latched onto me, kind of a bad habit I’ve let happen so my partner cannot help, she hates the cot we’ve tried multiple times, has anyone been in the same position and actually got more sleep? I’m mentally drained now :(

Getting Stuff Done

My little girl is nearly 4 weeks old. When I am home alone with her, I am really struggle to get stuff done around the house. I feel like all I do all day, every day is sit on the sofa watching the TV while she's asleep next to me in her moses basket, or feeding, burping and changing her when she's awake.

HELP! When does it get easier to leave your baby alone in a room so you can get stuff done?
