Awake

My 3 week old has been awake since 9pm, he’s had a bottle, nappy changes and I’ve been rocking him, tried a dummy and now 3 hours later he’s still awake, he’s fussy but not crying loads just looking around, does anyone else’s baby do this? Google says wake cycles should only be an hour/ 90 mins

Hey! I've just got my 3 week old baby down and hes been awake since the same time! This is kind of his normal awake time though! I did read thag babies shouldn't be awake for more than 90 minutes but my wee one seems content enough and just stares around the room, wants held and only fusses if needing another bottle or nappy changed! X

Mine has just finally given up too! I’ve noticed that he’s awake this time last 3 nights so must be his normal as well, glad to hear he’s not the only one! Does make you think what am I not doing why aren’t you sleeping 🤣 x

My little one has also just got down, I think it could be due to it being so warm. She would have very short sleeps like 15mins since about 7pm but usually goes down at 9pm for the night, hoping she stays asleep for the night now because I am very tired 😭

Mine is the same. Last night it was around 2 to 3 hours of him being awake. Just watching us contently or feeding or having a bit of a cry until he finally settled.

Can I get pregnant again after I start getting my period after birth?

I’m about 9mo postpartum and since my baby was 2 months old I started getting my period again. I assumed getting a period was a sign that I had eggs waiting to be fertilized but after all this time I haven’t gotten pregnant again? Why is that?

Is this ok?

My 2.5-year-old wants a bottle of milk before going to sleep at night, and I'm finding it difficult to break the habit. Is it okay for her to keep using the bottle for a bit longer, or how can I help her stop?

Hot shot method rapid cool

When doing the hot shot method with rapid cool do you need to sterilise it ever? Or just wash it hot soapy water now and again?

2 months

Hi moms!
My baby is approaching his 2 month mark. He loves to contact nap during the day and whenever he is placed on his bassinet or anywhere else that are not arms he wakes up and cries. Does anyone have advice on how I can slowly lean him off the arms or does it get better as he get older and won’t need the contact nap nomore? 🥲🥲😭

Baby sleeping longer stretches but boobs are not happy

What do we do with our hard and engorged boobs when baby decide to not wake up as many times during night anymore? I couldn't wait for this moment but now I'm in pain and want baby to wake up instead. Im using the elvie suction pump to get some milk out but maybe now baby is not getting that milk in the beginning that is for thirst?
