Same boat, girl. I don’t know when it gets better, but I’m hoping soon. 💕

I think a lot of this feeling is “when I feel like myself again” and we usually are thinking of ourselves before we had children but the fact of the matter is that you’ll never feel like that again. Motherhood/parenthood forces you to discover a whole new version of yourself but there’s no timeline on when that happens because it’s happening now and keeps changing all the time. I’m in the same boat with two kids and no real village and I’m home every day. I left my house twice this week, yesterday to Lowe’s and today to grab my family’s dinner lol. I try to set aside 15 minutes here and there to do things just for me, picking up my kindle, drinking my coffee and watching my bird feeder, tending to my garden and my chickens, a shower, doom scrolling when the kids are in bed.

Exactly 2 years pp for my first. Let's see when it will happen with my second...

W my first, 4 months. I had a friend that came over daily tho and we’d go on walks. Without that (this time) idk. It’s not 3 months tho 😅

After having my daughter, everything shifted. I was so young and going through postpartum depression. I was also dealing with grief from my brother who unalived himself. I had a very rocky path from the time my daughter was born to when she turned 7. Then I met my partner and we decided to have a baby. I told him everything will be different. There’s no going back to how we used to be if we go through with this.
I like how you asked “when did you start feeling human again?”
Tbh, all this feels pretty human to me.
Becoming a parent is something that evolves you. There’s no going back to your old self. Our brain has literally rewired itself.

I think 4m for me. I met one bestie at mothers group and one on here and one day I did a playdate all 3 of us and from there we just kept making playdate after playdate after girls night after girls night, I saw them twice a week for the next 3yrs until they all started 3yr kinder, my friends helped make me feel human again, I guess we need that motivation, that push. To enjoy life, go out, do things etc. it’s nice to have other mums to do motherhood with, def feels less alone. Oh and I started Pilates and Zumba twice a week at that age, 4m, something for myself- did that for 2yrs while I worked on myself physically and slowly lost the baby weight gained my strength and stamina back.

New friends??

Heyyy! I’m a 22 year old first time momma to an almost 2 month old baby girl
I just really need more mom friends that can relate or to even just be friends and send memes to each other ❤️ especially in the Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater area (I live in Oly!)

Feeling confused

So I found out that I was pregnant earlier this week and my boyfriend of 10 years doesn’t want a baby with me (his words) we had a son 6 years ago and that pregnancy was difficult, it was covid and that was my first pregnancy since losing my daughter 8 years prior at 11 months. Him and I had 4 abortions in 2 years so having our son was a true blessing. It’s been hard getting pregnant again since. Doctors told me I may never get pregnant again but here we are pregnant. Also if I abort I’m risking having a full hysterectomy and after birth a partial but I want my baby I prayed for this. Would I be wrong to keep it and risk losing my relationship

Witchy friends needed

Siiiiigh I am so tired of trying to make friends, yall lmao.

But I’m open to long distance friendship, and somehow seem to have better luck with that anyway. I’d love to have someone I can text, call, ft and all that.

I’m spiritual, and into all the witchy things. I love true crime, horror, plants, coffee, Red Bull, painting, nature, animals, and so many things. I’m like a green witch with a touch of Morticia Addams. Haha.

Right now I’m actively looking for a job and about to start taking a couple of classes online. I’m at home a lot and have a lot of time to chat for the time being.

Let’s send memes, witchy tips and tricks, vent sessions, and encourage each other as moms and as women.

Message me if you’re interested 🥰

Never enough

Im so done. I can't do it anymore, is it like this for everyone, none stop from the moment I open my eyes until I shut them briefly. 2 under 2, love them dearly but I'm not enough. I can't give any more.

I hate myself. How I feel, how I look, the fact I have no time to do a little somthing for myself. It's never ending. I get that's just the way it is and I'm selfish for wanting those things. I just feel so alone in this and guilty for sounding ungrateful for my 2 miracle babies

Does anyone else feel guilty for surviving on coffee / caffeine?

I find it really difficult when I haven’t had a sip of coffee. I’ll try to go a whole day without it, but honestly… everything just feels a little more gloomy. 😅

I know caffeine isn’t exactly a personality trait, but sometimes that first coffee feels like the thing getting me through the day.

Anyone else? 😅
