Congrats lovely!! I’m in the process of recovering from an emergency c section myself (had mine just over a week and a half ago) and the biggest tip I can give is to take it as easy as you possibly can, and lean on people around you for support when you need it!
C section recovery is no joke, especially when it’s an emergency c section, and it’s so hard being so limited with what you can do and how much you can move about, but the biggest thing I’ve learnt is to just take it as easy as you possibly can, and your recovery will go so so much smoother 🫶🏻
Also, your appetite may completely disappear (this is something I’m struggling with personally at the moment) and because you won’t be able to move around as easily, it can be easy to forget to eat/not to bother eating anything, so I’d recommend stocking up on snacks/easy light bits in your bedroom, so that you can grab something quickly when you do remember to eat! Cereal bars have been a huge lifesaver for me personally! 🫶🏻

(Also your little one is absolutely gorgeous!!)

Thankyou 😊 im only 5 days in and still in abit of pain, iv got my meds which im taking and ill always be on top of that regardless.
I am taking it easy with walking etc but its the sitting/lying down that im struggling with personally😕

Ill definitely try that, I have been sleeping with a pillow under my knees to help with pressure

Congratulations! I am a week post c section myself and this is my second. One thing I find is important is to take medication on time every time, any time I’ve forgotten or delayed it I felt so much worse, another thing would be do your best to drink as much as you can to stay hydrated, it’s hard but try to eat healthy full meals when you can 🩷 good luck mama 💕
