I have a 12 week old and the only way she will nap during the day is by contact napping. I am then trapped as I can’t put her down as she will wake up immediately. I have tried the carrier which does work too, but I feel bad for having her in it too much as it’s quite limiting on what she can see and makes us both hot with the weather being so warm.
Any tips for getting baby to nap in their crib/bassinet?

Only thing that helped my son was time, he slept in his crib from around 7-8 months for about 40 minutes. Before that he would contact nap, obviously same room until 6 months but at that point I started trying to do one nap in his crib in the day. Eventually he started to do be able to nap longer.

Same here, time. I literally kept persevering until it worked, sometimes still doesn’t !! White noise helps us massively, depends if your little one likes it or not I guess

Yep mine is 12 weeks this week and will only contact nap or have a short nap in the pram if we are out, I’m just dealing with it for now and letting her have the contact naps

Exact same for me. Contact naps only during the day. The one big positive is these are considered extremely beneficial for baby's brain development and nervous regulation. I know it's hard but more strength to us all 😅
