I feel bad thinking this way but I'm really annoyed with my husband lately. He does a lot for me but sometimes I feel like it's only when I ask...for example he knows how I feel when the house is a little messy or unorganized and he'll say he's gonna take care of it but he really doesn't, or if he does it's only half of the dishes or half of the recycling. It's frustrating because I then have to spend the 20 minutes of "free time" cleaning instead of eating, or sleeping, or taking a shower. Sometimes I can do more but I have to prioritize. I don't know, I'm just overwhelmed with the mental load of it all. I've talked to my husband about this and he says "I can do more". I hope he does, because I can't keep stressing about this. Am I just complaining or am I valid for feeling this way?
Just an additional note, my husband really is supportive and helpful it's just these things really get to me...

Moen are really dense and they don't pick up on hints or clues at all lol try sitting him down and telling him when he does xyz how it makes you feel and let him know when he does said things that it does reinforce those feelings of love and security you gain more respect for him how he shows up for you when you dont have to ask it solidifies your love for him and him as a provider to you and your family maybe hearing the positive will switch something in his brain ❤️

Do you ask him to do certain things? My hubby is pretty good but I’ll still say to him can you take the bin out tonight as it’s nearly full, and we need to clean the floors, can you do you it tonight or tomorrow? I think they need a bit of direction sometimes, even the good ones!

Just re read, are you not saying to him why have you only done half the dishes? They all need doing. Just be specific, and point stuff out!
