I went off at 35 weeks as worked as a cleaner and went off as soon as I couldn’t bend down as much, I regret it now as won’t get as much time with my little one but didn’t think that I could do my job any longer that pregnant

I had really bad pelvic girdle. Working and driving to work became very painful so was definitely the best decision to go off at 35 weeks I had one week sick and then 3 weeks annual leave as I didn’t plan to go off till 39 weeks.

I went off at 37 weeks as I had lost all motivation to work, and it was summer and I was hot and bothered, but my baby didn’t arrive until 42 weeks, and now I wish I had more time with him as my maternity leave is rapidly running out.

I went off at 36w because I was absolutely exhausted and I knew my body was telling me to slow down. I’m glad I did as baby was born at 37w!

For my first I was about 38 3, I thought I would go way overdue but nope she turned up 39+6.
My twins i went 36+4 and had a planned section 37 weeks.
I have a non manual wfh job though.

Planned to go off at 38 weeks, was told I’d need an induction at 39 weeks and ended up going at 37+3. It was probably the right amount of time for me pre birth, and I never went back so it didn’t affect things on the other end.

With my first I went off at 36 weeks and felt like it was way too long as he was born 40+4 so with my 2nd I went off at 39+1 and had her at 39+4. I knew I was going to be induced with my second 2 days after I had finished work but people didn’t believe I would make it till my last day and had to prove them wrong xx

I went off at 41 weeks (2 days before I gave birth 🤣) I was fine up until then as my son didn’t have any plans to leave as ended up having an induction. Turns out HR made an error and shouldn’t have let me work for that long 🤣🤣🤣 depends what type of job you have. I wfh so it was manageable xx

I went off at 35 weeks. I had 3 weeks annual leave followed by 2 weeks maternity leave before my due date, however I was induced at 38 weeks so he was born 4 days after my mat leave started. I was very ready to go off work as i had very bad pelvic girdle pain and could barely walk by the end and was in and out of triage and community midwife appointments for high blood pressure. I remember thinking i could have happily gone off a week before.

38weeks. Literally had the weekend off and then gave birth but wish I has taken more time for myself before birth. I had such bad burn out from the handover rush
