For the c section mums. How long did the pain last after the c section?

A couple of weeks max but was very manageable with painkillers. If you’re still in pain I’d say there’s definitely something else going on.. don’t let them fob you off!

Agree with Yasmin - was a couple of weeks here. I’m also 14 weeks and get the occasional twing if I overstretch & it’s still a little numb round the scar (plus a couple of my toes have mild pins & needles) but nothing that needs painkillers. Can you see a different doctor at the practise? Sounds like you maybe need a scan to check what’s going on in there.

I’ve had an emergency section in 2023 and was like you, in pain all those weeks later, it did eventually pass not long after I think but it was a long slog! I had an unplanned but non emergency section 18 days ago and basically since the day after I’ve felt no pain and been up and mobile, I’ve been doing long slow gentle walks no bother. The difference is quite shocking between the two! I hope it gets better for you soon x
