Hey girl!!
Looking for a mom bestie who actually texts back and doesn’t make it weird 😭 just easy convo, no awkward pauses, no overthinking replies like we can talk about life, kids, chaos, and random nonsense without it feeling like a job interview. Bonus if we can be funny and consistent 🫶 I want a real friend, not an off and on situation LOLL 😭
Getting back into work/education advice?
Has anyone got any advice or tips at all? I'm 29 and I've got two young daughters that are 2 and a half and 8 months.
My job and work history is a bit all over the place due to mental health, my dad dying nearly 4 years ago and having my girls. I didn't do very well at school because I absolutely hated it so my GCSE's were rubbish. After I left school I did childcare level 1 and 2 and passed both of them, got my first job at 18, had a massive panic attack, left after 5 weeks, got another job in another nursery and was there for 5 years when I moved away after meeting my partner during covid.
I've also worked in warehouses and I want to re train completely as I don't want to do childcare anymore. I've recently completed a level 2 health and social care online course at my local college but I'm stuck between this and wanting to become a midwife/maternity support worker.
I'm really stuck on next steps. My partner earns a decent wage and I'm at home with the Kids, we are also on UC. My eldest goes to nursery twice a week but my youngest is only 8 months and I don't want her going to nursery yet. Money is tight so I can't afford to pay for uni, plus I'm not clever enough so I feel stuck. Anyone been in a similar position?
