My 2 year old is being (words that I shouldn’t call my child but want to). To start when she has something she shouldn’t have she runs off with it like it’s a game and when she doesn’t run off with it the throws it regardless of what it is. If it’s a glass cup well I don’t have that cup anymore. She doesn’t listen to anything I need or want her to do. Nap and bed time is a whole different battle. I’ve been able to figure out how to get her to her room but once she’s in her room and I’m trying to get her butt changed she tries to 🐊 roll and kick and it’s getting dangerous for me when she does that because I’m 8 months pregnant. Once I can get her changed and put in her bed she’s screaming and throwing her self around the crib. Shes always gone down with a a sippy cup of water and now she throws it across the room. It’s like playing dodge ball. I just don’t know what to do I’ve tried looking it up and it’s all the gentle parents crap and I’ve tried it doesn’t work. I need help

My child is doing the same thing. The way it works at this age is this is the time they need to learn consequences come with terrible actions. Find out everything that she loves and wants and when she does something she is not suppose to you tell her ur taking such thing because your not listening and do not give it back

I have a 2 year old who does this. I have eventually made sure that he has everything he needs. If he throws his sippy out then that’s his consequence- he just won’t have a sippy to soothe him. He has finally learned that if I throw something out of my crib, I won’t be getting it back.
He does the running about and throwing stuff, but I’ve started counting and I use a stern voice. He knows hey I’m going to lose my chance of ice cream, or watching Mickey Mouse for a few minutes before bed time.

Unfortunately, I think that’s just two-year-olds ): mine does the same stuff
