I love my kids more than life itself and I am completely burned out. I am touched out and exhausted and empty. I smiled all day and now I am sobbing on the bathroom floor while dishes sit in the sink and laundry sits in piles. I feel like I am disappearing. Is this normal. How do you admit you need help when everyone thinks you have it together. Please tell me how you got through this. I need my people.

What works for me when I feel overwhelmed w/ responsibilities is to think of the next task or necessity. Perhaps that means the next 30 mins.
Example: grocery pickup, then put away. Hour later: prepare snacks/dinner. Hour later: pick up kid(s), & get home. If i think about it all at once- groceries, laundry, food, chauffeur, bed, etc- it can seem overwhelming.
Try to think about what u can accomplish next, & then give yourself kudos.
Remember to be kind to yourself, just as you'd be to a friend. Tell yourself u are doing ur best, given how u feel at the moment.
Our best is going to vary. We can't output the same % if our body is tired, or we have a headache, just as you'd tell a friend if they had a fever or illness.
If u tell yourself only negative, that is what u will feel. If u tell yourself you are still learning, u are trying ur best at this minute, & will try ur best in the next 10 minutes, then u will be/do that.
Also,if I'm upset ðŸ˜/😡, I walk away & count backwards to switch my thinking; 5-4-3-2-1
