Staying busy & therapy to get to the key reason off where anxiety is steaming from.

I take magnesium oxide 250 my daily, at the direction of my OB, it helps prevent my headaches, muscles cramps, and is relaxing. She told me I can take up to a total of 800 mg daily. A nice warm drink like coffee, decaf coffee, or caffeine free tea with my favorite creamer is another small joy

Move around a bit, even if it’s just at home, stretch out, move your body around, or even throw on some fun music and dance around. Sit outside and get 10-20 min of sun. Watch your favorite TV show. Text a friend. Therapy is a great resource if you have access to it. Online support groups are available for prenatal/ post partum check out Postpartum Support International

Trying to figure out a birthday gift for my husband

A) find a way to take a picture of all three kids together and get it printed on one item.

B) use existing pictures of the kids individually print one on a mug, one on a mouse pad, and one on a puzzle.

C) get him something else that's unrelated to the kids

Hello, I’m Lucy , I’m a mom , wife, veteran, photographer, and full-time working mama 🤍 I’m big on family, good vibes, real friendships, and finding other moms who understand the beautiful chaos of motherhood. Always down for coffee, laughs, playdates, or just having someone to talk to! ✨

Guilty of buying yourself something

I feel guilty buying myself this one gift.
I feel like I should spend on my kid
which I do and I don’t do anything for myself.

It is a lil pricey but I’ve never done that before and I know it wouldn’t break us because we’ve been being smart with spending.

The bright side is , it is a girly purchase and I do have a daughter. Maybe she can use it one day lol 😆

Which option would you go for?

Me and my partner are saving up to buy a house.

I'm 25 years old and have a 5 month old.
We currently live in my parent’s house and are more than half way from saving up the deposit to buy a decent house.

So the options are either:

- Buying a house which costs considerably less and less mortgage payments a month and can move out faster (within 5 months)
But the disadvantage is that it's not our dream location in terms of community and schools, so will probably move out in the future to a second home.

- Or should we wait and save more money and buy the dream home instead meaning we stay in my parent's house longer (8-12 months realistically)

What do you do for YOURSELF?

I know it's hard as a sahm to find time for yourself. Some nights I'm lucky I even get to shower in peace. But I also try to remember if I don't take care of myself first, the kids suffer. You can't pour from an empty cup and all that jazz. So when you do finally get the time, or make the time, what do you like to do? Need some ideas lol 💕

facing eviction because of him.

my partner has anger issues. i’ve dealt with them and wanted to leave many times because of them (and infidelity). but i’ve given him chance after chance, thinking things will be different. after his blow ups he’ll apologize and i’ll think we came to a conclusion. but then he’ll rehash it, throwing everything out the window. he wants me to quit breastfeeding our 17 month old. so i’ve started the weaning process for him. what he proposed i follow was not working for us, so i told him and said im following a different schedule that will work better for me and our daughter and after a few fights he decided he was ok with that. but a few nights ago when i got home from work at 10pm, our daughter was in bed with him which is fine. but she woke up so i was breastfeeding her back to sleep so we could all just go to sleep. he freaked out. pulled her off my breast. started SCREAMING in my face telling me im harming her development and it’s bad for her. i told him its late, im tired, we can talk about this tomorrow. he refused. he started escalating it. turning the lights on, knocking shit off of our dresser, shattered a glass on the floor. throwing her toys. taking her from me and locking me out of the room. making a huge scene for HOURS! i said please she needs to go to sleep stop keeping her up because of this. and he said it’s my fault that she’s up because i want my baby back and won’t leave them be. he ordered me to clean up the mess he made. before he finally laid down in her room with her and got her to sleep at around 1am. the next day i received an email from our leasing office. they received noise complaints and realized my partner is living here while not on the lease. he has terrible credit and renter history so it had to be under my name only. they said he can’t live here and must find somewhere else to stay. that if they receive one more complaint or that he hasn’t left i’ll be evicted. now i’m in an impossible situation. he’s apologized and says he wants to make a plan to keep him from blowing up again and he’ll park is car elsewhere and not come in through the front door. but i don’t feel optimistic anymore. i feel like he’s going to fuck up again and then my name will be ruined. i don’t want to make him sleep somewhere else because i feel that will be hard for him, that and how will they know if he’s still there if he really does keep quiet and lay low? but part of me feels that they will find out. idk what to do. i need to reset my nervous system i feel like im in fight or flight permanently.
