Early symptoms

Would love to hear everyone’s early symptoms. I’m around 4 weeks and not really have many besides feeling bloated. When I was pregnant with my daughter I had Covid so I was just miserable in general

When I was 4 weeks I had nausea and heartburn and felt really warm. My sense of smell also became very strong and I was tired all the time. When I hit 5 weeks I started having pressure in my lower abdomen and the nausea was joined by its good pal vomiting. I'm 19w1d now and STILL getting sick, but now only for part of the day

Waking up feeling super hot, sore boobs and really tired

I'm on my first pregnancy and I swear I had every symptom *except* actual vomiting (only a handful of times in first trimester) but immediately was nauseous, EXHAUSTED, boobs were sore, full but also starving, emotional, bloated, and sense of smell was insane!

I second the tired thing and the sense of smell. I was like a blood hound 😅 but the main thing was I cried at the drop of a hat everything and anything could and did make me cry. That was what tipped us off that I was pregnant tbh.

Hope you get to enjoy this pregnancy x

I had no symptoms at all early on! The only thing I noticed was the smell of black coffee made me nauseous. The fatigue hit around week 6/7 and last 2-3 weeks. Then nothing again for a bit. My mother also had no real symptoms and I’ve heard they can be genetic, maybe check with all the ladies in your family?

Tiredness and bloat only. I’m in my third trimester and have not had morning sickness ever. My husband is really healthy and gyms daily, I heard his sperm health was why I didn’t go through all the nauseating symptoms. My cousin’s wife also never experienced morning sickness and her husband is also a gym rat.

I’m always tired, I wake up with about 4 hours of energy and be exhausted the rest of the day, nothing sounds good to eat and when I do I get sick, hot for no damn reason🤣 I’m 6 weeks 5days

I had nothing at all during my first pregnancy. Literally just zero symptoms.

During my second pregnancy, I had really bad round ligament pain starting at 5 weeks comboed with some really bad breast soreness as well. And I got to experience morning sickness for the first time! I'm just now moving out of those symptoms and starting to feel movement, which is so much better to me, haha.

Girl my ass was 8 weeks pregnant when I had set an appointment for the doctor to go get some allergy meds, missed my doctor's appointment because I thought I had the stomach flu! Coming out both damn ends. I missed out on going to see my grandma after she had back surgery. Went to the doctor and thought i haven't had a period in a while took a test came back positive. How I told my mom was well, I could have went to see grandma she can't catch pregnancy! Lots of nausea, I only got sick like 8 times, lots of heartburn! Overall tiredness all the time!

Open or closed concept?

I bought a closed concept house because I wanted to keep my cats out of the kitchen. 😊 my family was saying they prefer open concept and suggesting I tear the wall down to open it up… no thanks😅

Opinions please on celebrating big brother

Am I overthinking this or does this sound like a nice idea?

I’m due my baby girl in December, and I’ve been thinking a lot about how much my 3-year-old’s life is going to change. He’s always been at home with me and is so excited about becoming a big brother.(most if the time)

When we bring the baby home, I’m thinking of getting him a little present “from” his baby sister. Since we’ll be decorating the house to welcome the baby, I was also thinking of doing a little something special for him too — maybe a half-blue, half-pink cake saying “Big Brother & Little Sister”, some Big Brother balloons and a few decorations just for him.

Obviously the main focus will be welcoming our baby girl, but I’d love for him to feel celebrated and special too, because becoming a big brother is such a huge change for him.

Would you do something like this, or do you think it’s unnecessary and I should just focus on the baby? I’d love to hear what other mums did when their first child became a big brother/sister. Is this spoiling him too much should i just b focusing on making it special for baby
