I have a 4 mth old and a 2 yr old.
I ask my partner to take my 2 yr old out this afternoon just them 2. While I catch up on some sleep with the baby. (Exclusively breastfed)
He says this is unfair as sleeping is my free time? So he should get some free time in return?

I don’t really understand what he’s saying but I personally feel like unless your partner is incredibly emotionally intelligent it’s hard to reason with partners on what they cant begin to comprehend (having a baby). It is disappointing but not surprising. If it were me I’d stick to my guns and say he needs to take the toddler out and try not to get into it. You need to advocate for yourself. X

😂😂😂😂what a BAFOON!! I’d throw poop at him if I could. Ridiculous comment. 😤😤😤

Tell him work his free time as he doesn't have 2 kids wrap around him all day.
Tell him to grow up😂🫡

Awww poor baby doesn’t have time to play..🙄 a dad who doesn’t want spend time with his kids because he wants to play or do whatever. It shouldn’t be a competition right ? It’s all about who needs help most sometimes. Like you take the baby out so I can rest and sleep as I’m up all night feeding he baby and you sleep. And then you can have sometime for yourself or your hobbies whatever. I’m so sick or reading and hearing about all these man child’s I swear. They are like babies. You have a family now grow up. You have a wife who is feeding a baby all night and doesn’t sleep. She needs your support and you moan about not having time for yourself. Like take some responsibility

some of you women are selfish asf and are nuts, your man is allowed free time as well as you

Both need free time. Maybe suggest to him if he could take the toddler while you nap, you’ll feel better later and be able to give him an hour free time while you have the children??

Start pumping your milk and make him do the night feeds.
Sometimes you have to put people in your situation for them to get it.
I guarentee a week of him doing this, he won't question you needing sleep again

"sleep is your free time"
Well as he hadn't dropped dead from sleep deprivation, I assume he also sleeps at some point, so he can't say he doesn't get free time! Sleep is his free time. ☺️
