Tips for staying awake!

My LO is 9 weeks and suffers from reflux . I’m presently having real trouble trying to keep myself awake for night feeds and then the subsequent burping and keeping vertical for 30 mins after feeding. I just woke to her pretty much throwing up her whole last feed because I did the laid down feed position in bed and then let us both just go straight to sleep without the burping reflux routine. I’m now feeling really guilty. Having to do the whole feed routine again. Just so tired.

Any tips? I usually just scroll on my phone but that doesn’t seem to be cutting it!

I will add, we always ending moving to the spare room around 5 or 6pm which does generally help with this feed time as change of scenery. But I can’t do that every time

Are we having regular sex?

We're averaging 1-2 times per week. What about you? I thought this was normal but my husband just told me we're not having enough sex. We have a 24 month old and a 12 week old I thought we were doing decent considering....am I wrong?
This has been the average since my son was born 2 years ago.

I need help falling back to sleep

Ladies, does anyone have any suggestions for how to fall back asleep after waking in the night?
I have a nearly two year old, and my husband has now had to take over pretty much all of the night wake-ups. If I even attempt to go in and resettle her, I just know I’ll be awake for hours afterwards. Even if I’m only up with her for 10 minutes, that’s it, my brain decides it’s morning and I’m WIDE awake 😩
Luckily, I have an amazing husband who can literally put his head back on the pillow and be asleep within seconds, so he genuinely doesn’t mind doing the odd wake-up. It’s got to the point where he’s basically taken over all of them now 🥹 I know how lucky I am!
Unfortunately, I was not blessed with his ability to fall asleep on command 😂 The second I wake up and start moving around, my brain springs to life and there’s just no switching it back off.
I’m honestly so fed up with it now because it’s really starting to affect my mood day to day. I’ve even started dreading waking up in the night because I never know whether I’ll get back to sleep quickly or be lying there wide awake for hours.
Has anyone else struggled with this? And more importantly, has anyone found anything that actually helps you get back to sleep?

12 week jabs

My little one had her 12 week jabs today and has definitely reacted worse than she did the first time… she was inconsolable for the first few hours and has slept really deeply all day. She has not finished any bottles today and has not yet pooped this evening. Her temp is 37.7 and at its highest was 37.9.

Her last feed was at 11:30, she fell asleep post feed and then I could not wake her up for her calpol no matter what I did! In the end I brought her to mum and she was able to get her up but I’m very worried. 🤦🏾‍♀️

How soon could you tell?

Hi! I have a 4 month old and I’m by no means trying to diagnose her yet. But there is a high chance she’ll be autistic because I am, and my husband’s father is as well.

I just wanted to know if anyone could tell their child was autistic or see any signs this early?

My main concern is that if I change her routine at all she has massive meltdowns. During the week she’s absolutely fine because I am very routine based. But if my husband takes over for a bit or we do something a little different on the weekend, she absolutely loses it.

Is that normal?

front sleeper

hi my LO is 14 weeks and just mastered the roll from back to front! but cannot roll front to back. Since this he rolls to his front during sleep and has been sleeping on his front tonight, his head is turned where his nose is free and 3/4 of his mouth. He cries when he wants flipped back over. NHS safe sleeping says if he cannot roll back himself then to keep putting him back on his back but the second i do he rolls again and we’re playing a game of rotisserie chicken 🤣

what’s peoples experience of a front sleeper and are you ok just leaving them as long as face clear nothing in cot etc til they learn the roll themselves back, i don’t wanna keep having him sleep on me when neither of us want too just to avoid front sleeping x
