I'm posting this here because I don't know how else to talk about this.
I had my baby back in August last year. At different points during and after the pregnancy, my husband would say things like "Oh but you work in a nursery so you're the expert" or "But you're the professional, you should know this". Granted, there are some aspects of working in Childcare that have come in useful. The honest truth is that it's so different when you are taking care of your own baby. It's just other people's attitude and mentality of "It's ok Mum works in Childcare, she can deal with it/will have all the answers." It drains me, it really does š.
Anyhoo.
Happy Sunday everyone x

As a former peds nurse, I totally get this. I'm a nervous wreck with my own. It's 100% different when it's your own baby!

I completely understand this, both me and my husband are qualified nurses but there are times we have been so nervous or feel like we have no idea what we are doing. It's completely different when it's your own child as we have all the emotions and obviously the sleep deprivation too
