We need the windows wide open at night due to the heat but are all covered in mosquito bites... LO is also covered, sudocream helps afterwards but what can be used on a baby to be preventative? Thanks 😊

We have magnetic nets on the windows at home, I mainly got it as a deterrent for the cat to not commit during the summer but they really helped with all mannerisms of bugs etc too!! And they still obviously let air through :)

Satan-in-law!

Ohh where to begin! My sister in law has caused a lot of drama during my pregnancy resulting in high blood pressure, panic attacks, and high stress. I’m trying my best to focus on my pregnancy and me and my husband are working hard to ensure our marriage stays strong but she seems to love putting a wedge between us! Baby is due in 3 months, she hasn’t contacted me in 2 months. Is it cruel to not allow her to meet my baby when he is here? She has treated me like crap and turned her whole family against me and also tried to do the same to my own family. She is a liar, narcissistic, manipulative etc. and I don’t want this energy around my child. Any advice??

Husbands and putting baby to sleep

I can't tell if I'm being overdramatic or not. My husband is very hands on with our 15 month old daughter. We both work full time and our days are extra long. I work earlier than he does, so he gets her ready in the morning and brings her to Grandma's and then I pick her up and start our evening routine with her. I usually cook and do most of the cleaning/laundry. But he's hands on helping as soon as he gets home. One day as week he's off by himself and has her all day. He loves this extra day with her.
But he never offers to put her to sleep, for naps or bedtime, if I'm home. Not since she was a newborn. I still breastfeed her to sleep of I'm with her,but we plan to wean soon. He says he just can't get her to sleep because he doesn't have "the magic weapon". On his solo days with her, when she needs to take a nap, they just watch TV until she hopefully falls asleep. He says he's tried music, rocking, low lights, etc but it doesn't work. I think he's not trying enough and taking the easy way out.
Am I being unreasonable for feeling annoyed that he never helps put her to sleep and always expects me to do so?

Baby wide awake

Baby has woken up at 3:30am & is wide awake smiling & giggling like it’s 7am πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ not sure what to do, do I just let him be awake for a bit in the low light? He has a 2 hour wake window so really hope it’s not a full wake 😭
