Food aversion

So for those who had it. How serious was it? We are pregnant with our second child and nausea and food aversion is at a different level (plus the vomiting that I didn’t have with my first). This time I can basically eat less than 10 foods and they usually rotate: nowadays I can eat chicken, tuna steaks, apples, cherries, green beans and porridge for breakfast. That is it! And I can only go for 1 day without coke. Was yours the same?

I'm the opposite this time. I'm feeling slightly nauseous at times but last time round I was sick multiple times a day and couldn't eat anything. Currently no aversions. Weird how it changes each pregnancy

Name help!!!

We are STRUGGLING to pick a baby boy name.

We don’t want anything “cute”, he has got to grow up to be a man with this name so something timeless unique but also crazy.

We have narrowed down to “Silas” and “Marcel” at the moment.

But I am not obsessed with any name at all!! Baby is due in 4 weeks 🥹

Pre labour cramping?

For the last 24 hours I've been experiencing mild to medium period like cramping in my belly and back. I'm 39+5. I also had it a couple of days ago but it subsided. It is consistent, it doesn't come and go like a contraction, and it doesn't go away with rest. Could this be labour starting? Did anyone else have this, and if so, how long after did labour start?

A bit of fun

We are now 25 weeks pregnant and haven’t found out the gender. We had this scan at 18 weeks and were sent this potty shot by the sonographer- riskay! Is it the genitalia?! The clinic have denied that it includes the genitalia but it looks rather suspicious to me 😂

NHS vs Private Scan

Has anyone experienced discrepancies between nhs and private scans? 12 days ago the EPU assessed me as 5 weeks 2 days as they could see the gestational sac and a yolk. I had a private scan today and they said I was only 5 weeks 3 days, even though I now also have a 3.1mm embryo. I’m so confused!

Lower back Stiffness & pain

Hi all.

I was told before giving birth that the epidural can cause back issues later on in life so I opted out. But ended up with an emergency c section. I'm now nearly 18 months pp, I'm experiencing severe lower back pain and stiffness. I cannot pick up my child, bend or move much. I've had lower back pain since giving birth but nothing like this.

Any advice pls thanks x
