There are lots of different ways. You can do the fairy where you like have a fairy come and take them and bury them in the yard for the fairy to take something like that and get them a toy. Just take it away cold turkey. Or cut a little hole then make it slowly bigger. We did that with my first and he got over them pretty quickly. My second it took forever and she still used them when they had a huge hole so we kind of just had to do cold turkey. Told her she’s a big girl and doesn’t need them. We have another baby on the way so I told her the pacifiers were for the baby

Not enjoying parenthood

Anyone else not enjoying parenthood as much as they thought they would? My little girl is 13 weeks old and screams inconsolably every evening. It's so stressful and really taking its toll on me and my partner as it's been like this for weeks now. I just feel a bit trapped and I'm not enjoying being a Mum as much as I thought I would. It goes without saying that I love my little girl so much, I'm just finding this phase so difficult

How long before I can stand without pain?

10 days post-partum, still unable to stand for more than a few minutes without pain that radiates through my pelvis and demands I sit back down for it to stop.
Sitting is uncomfortable, I had a 2nd degree tear and stitches for a vaginal wall repair but the pain when standing is extreme, walking is fine it only is an issue if stood still.

It's really caught me off guard I thought recovery would be easier than this I can't even stand and wash some dishes without feeling close to tears and needing to stop and sit
