Not yet crawling

My November baby (24:11:25) has only just started sitting, not enough to be left alone sitting but he’s close he can roll both ways confidently but I’m worried he’s behind, I see everyone else baby crawling standing extra and he’s just not interested any advice?

Every baby develops differently! My son was walking at about 9 months where my niece didn't walk till she was 2. Unless you're dr is worried I wouldn't be!

9m sounds completely normal still, I’m a PT and while I don’t work in paediatrics I had some basics in my training. If you’re concerned talk to your paediatrician but let your child explore movement, offer lots of floor time, keep them out of containers like swings, seats, etc :) if in doubt maybe you can get an assessment or some physio to teach you how to best guide your LO :) but if I remember correctly children start to sit and crawl independently around 9-10m

my daughter is 9 months & 1 week, she isn't crawling, she's never loved being on her tummy.

she didn't roll until she was 7 months either, i'm not too worried as i see signs that she wants to crawl.

i researched some activities to do with her to try and help her along, and we've been doing them over the past few days.

please try not to compare, i know it's really hard because i compare my two to each other but i just tell myself my daughter isn't my son, and she's perfect the way she is.

(my son rolled at 3 months, crawled at 7 months and was pulling to stand at 9 months) x

My little boy never really rolled over but started crawling last week, he’s 7th Nov. It would be extremely significant if he was behind x

My girl was born 2nd November and she still can’t crawl, can sit independently (although throws herself back so we still have to put pillows around her😂) I asked the HV when I went the other day and they have no concerns regarding crawling as no longer a milestone. I understand it can be worrying though, I’ve been the exact same!x

Introducing formula after 6 months EBF

Looking for advice on how to introduce my 6 month old to formula after being exclusively breastfed. I want to continue breastfeeding when I can (combi feed) but I go back to work soon and won’t have time to express when there so worry I won’t be able to stock up enough for each day I’m in work. Baby has never had a problem drinking breast milk from the bottle in the few times I’ve left him with family but is outright refusing to drink formula (tried powder and ready made). Drank a few once day 1, day 2 drank half of that, day 3 onward wouldn’t drink it at all! Anyone who has managed to successfully introduce formula at a later stage, any advice would be appreciated.

Not enjoying parenthood

Anyone else not enjoying parenthood as much as they thought they would? My little girl is 13 weeks old and screams inconsolably every evening. It's so stressful and really taking its toll on me and my partner as it's been like this for weeks now. I just feel a bit trapped and I'm not enjoying being a Mum as much as I thought I would. It goes without saying that I love my little girl so much, I'm just finding this phase so difficult

How long before I can stand without pain?

10 days post-partum, still unable to stand for more than a few minutes without pain that radiates through my pelvis and demands I sit back down for it to stop.
Sitting is uncomfortable, I had a 2nd degree tear and stitches for a vaginal wall repair but the pain when standing is extreme, walking is fine it only is an issue if stood still.

It's really caught me off guard I thought recovery would be easier than this I can't even stand and wash some dishes without feeling close to tears and needing to stop and sit

3 year old loves hugging strangers- any advice?

My 3.5 year old always says hello to any passing by stranger and recently she’s also started going up to random people especially adults who happen to have kids with them and she goes and hugs their legs. I felt really embarrassed today as a man was with his 2 children in a coffee shop and she went over and started hugging his legs but he was very friendly and told me not to worry but how do I communicate with my child? Should I tell them not to hug strangers? Probably seems like such a dumb question but want to deal with it best I can without affecting her friendliness towards people as it’s obviously good she’s friendly.
