Dummies

Hi all, how are we getting rid of the dummy? I have 19 month old twins who only have a dummy for nap/bed time but I want to get rid of it completely without losing my mind trying to soothe them back to sleep a million times for ages 😅 (I don’t let them cry it out). Tbf my son sleeps really well and doesn’t really wake up in the night but my daughter wakes up often when she loses her dummy. I just woke up one day and decided to go cold turkey for the dummy in the day but I’m not looking forward to night time 😂Any useful tips or advice pleaseeeeee

My daughter adjusted better to sleeping at night without than at naptime. We did cold turkey because slowly weaning it was not working

Put a big hole in the dummy. I did this. My daughter used it until she was 2yrs and it was so hard. But slowly she lost i interest and 1 day she threw it herself out of franstration and I never bought her a new one. I told her we left it where she threw it. Goodluck

I got rid once he had a level of understanding. He himself put the dummies in the basket for the dummy fairy. We had maybe 2 rough days of him having meltdowns but eventually got use to it.
