12 week old never slept through the night

Hi all, my baby is 12 weeks old and has always slept in the next to me crib fine. He can settle himself to sleep initially but he wakes up around 3-4 times a night for a feed. Everyone I speak to seems to have had a full nights sleep but I haven’t had one since he’s been born (or since about 25 weeks pregnant) He only wakes up and feeds for 10 minutes and goes straight to back to sleep but it would be nice for a full night or at least something longer than 4 hours.. Please tell me I’m not alone 🤣

OMG you are not alone at all and I have had the same with mum friends saying they put their babies down for the night and that’s it…. My little one however is still up between 2/3 hours for a feed….. and it’s 8-10 minutes I’m so tired but trying to tell myself it won’t last forever and I will miss it eventually xx

you are not alone! my 12 week old does every 2 hours! its developmentally normal for them to wake in the night 🥰

Same here (14 week old). Usually 3 hours at the start then 2 hours, then every 1 hour. This week he wants a wake window about 6am and then another 1-2 hour nap.
And I always feed back to sleep which may be where I’m going wrong but who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️🫠

Definitely not alone! My baby is 13 weeks and the most he’s slept in one go is 5.5hrs and that was only once or twice! We’re usually every 2-4hrs. Like everyone said, it’s developmentally ‘normal’ and expected for them to wake during the night! It’s more common for babies to wake than sleep through and remember what you hear from other mums might not always be the full truth.☺️

How would yall respond to this?

I’m scheduled for an induction Tuesday and my baby isn’t even here yet and I already have family making plans to come in town to see the baby, my family member texted me this :
“Hey, baby. Me & my husband are coming to see y'all next month, September 16th-20th! Can't wait to see y'all and DemBabies!”

I’m not even sure how my delivery will be like or my healing process, i already told immediate family I will not be having visitors at the hospital or at home until we are ready but I’m a little confused on how to respond to this message because it sounds like they already booked a flight or something? I don’t even plan on announcing when he is born because I’m not stressing over these people atp. I find it kinda rude them making dates and plans without even asking me. They never met my 2 year old so I guess they are excited but not even asking if I’m cool with visitors is just too much rn.

When do children fully understand you?

My son is nearly two and I’ve been wondering lately when will he fully understand what I’m trying to tell him ?

Sleepwear

Hi Everyone! I bought the Groegg from Tommee Tippee and it keeps saying my room is around 28 degrees Celsius whereas outside is currently 18 degrees.

I know my rooms warmer because I get sweaty but I never know if my daughter needs to sleep in based on both these temperatures.

Any help is appreciated 🙏

Dummies

Hi all, how are we getting rid of the dummy? I have 19 month old twins who only have a dummy for nap/bed time but I want to get rid of it completely without losing my mind trying to soothe them back to sleep a million times for ages 😅 (I don’t let them cry it out). Tbf my son sleeps really well and doesn’t really wake up in the night but my daughter wakes up often when she loses her dummy. I just woke up one day and decided to go cold turkey for the dummy in the day but I’m not looking forward to night time 😂Any useful tips or advice pleaseeeeee

Problems with 15 month old in cot

I love my baby but she’s honestly annoying the shit out of me with her sleep now. Every night feels like a battle. We co slept for the first year of her life as I only had the one bedroom and I’m a single mum but have recently moved into a 2 bed and have been trying to get her into her own room. The first time I tried her in her cot it we great she slept until 5am and I thought we were getting somewhere. Since then she has gradually got worse and worse with her wake ups and she now will sleep 45 minutes and then wake up. I have even spent ages getting her back to sleep tonight for her to last all of 10 minutes before waking up again 😡. I have tried reducing her nap times to just one nap a day but it’s still not helping? She’s extremely clingy anyway and cries a lot even when I leave the room. It really is starting to get to me now I just want a few fucking hours to chill out by myself and I can’t even get that. Please give me your tips but she is not the type to just fall asleep if I leave her as I’m currently doing that and she is just shouting and crying.
