When do children fully understand you?

My son is nearly two and I’ve been wondering lately when will he fully understand what I’m trying to tell him ?

Being repetitive helps. My daughter is 21 months and she mostly understands everything that I say to her.

Fully understand or actually listen? 😅😂

Babies understand language before they can speak it. By 2-2.5 they understand what they are being told. They just much to the under why / what they are being told

My baby is 11 months and understands certain things I say now

My 13 month old understands a LOT. Does he actually do as hes told though? Nope 😂

My son is 21 months and he understands most of what we say to him, like simple instructions. However whether he chooses to do what we ask is another thing altogether! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

My girlie is 2yrs 3months & understands almost everything I tell her but getting her to actually listen/do what I tell her is a whole other ball game 😂🩷

Are you letting your LO sleep through the night yet?

We’ve been feeding at 11, 3 and 7 currently. We set an alarm for the 3am and feed him. I set an alarm for 7 and just wait until he wakes up which is anywhere between 6:30 and 8:30. At what point were they missing the middle feed?

How would yall respond to this?

I’m scheduled for an induction Tuesday and my baby isn’t even here yet and I already have family making plans to come in town to see the baby, my family member texted me this :
“Hey, baby. Me & my husband are coming to see y'all next month, September 16th-20th! Can't wait to see y'all and DemBabies!”

I’m not even sure how my delivery will be like or my healing process, i already told immediate family I will not be having visitors at the hospital or at home until we are ready but I’m a little confused on how to respond to this message because it sounds like they already booked a flight or something? I don’t even plan on announcing when he is born because I’m not stressing over these people atp. I find it kinda rude them making dates and plans without even asking me. They never met my 2 year old so I guess they are excited but not even asking if I’m cool with visitors is just too much rn.

Sleepwear

Hi Everyone! I bought the Groegg from Tommee Tippee and it keeps saying my room is around 28 degrees Celsius whereas outside is currently 18 degrees.

I know my rooms warmer because I get sweaty but I never know if my daughter needs to sleep in based on both these temperatures.

Any help is appreciated 🙏

Dummies

Hi all, how are we getting rid of the dummy? I have 19 month old twins who only have a dummy for nap/bed time but I want to get rid of it completely without losing my mind trying to soothe them back to sleep a million times for ages 😅 (I don’t let them cry it out). Tbf my son sleeps really well and doesn’t really wake up in the night but my daughter wakes up often when she loses her dummy. I just woke up one day and decided to go cold turkey for the dummy in the day but I’m not looking forward to night time 😂Any useful tips or advice pleaseeeeee
