Hey, as most of us are getting super close....what is everyone putting on their mattress just in case their waters go?

I've got a wet sheet (I think they're designed for bed wetting) and then a normal fitted sheet over the top of it- I'm 35 weeks Wednesday so thought it was a good idea from now!

I just used puppy pads as you can throw them away! I used the same under my daughters cot when she was newborn as easier to chuck and just get new ones out when she was sick as she was a reflux baby!

You can buy absorbent bed pads, a bit like giant puppy pads. However my sister in law said they are a nightmare and just scrunch up and move about every time you roll over in bed. Could also buy a waterproof mattress protector but I probably won’t bother. I think only like 15% of women’s waters break before they are in established labour / in hospital.

I bought a waterproof sheet to put under our regular on and then realised when it showed up that I got entirely the wrong size 🫠😂 So I’m gonna order a bigger one ☺️

I’ve got puppy pads under my sheet 🙂

Incontinence bed protector thing for me
