I didn’t have the same exeperience. But I’d go to a pelvic floor therapist. They can tell you either or not you actually need to work on your pelvic floor and core. Or if it’s a prolapse and needs surgery or something more to fix. Sometimes it’s pelvic floor needs to be exercised but sometimes it’s more

Sounds like a prolapse. She didn't refer you to anyone? Just wants you to try pelvic floor exercises on your own? That sounds kinda crazy ngl. I would ask for a PT referral. Maybe it's not severe and she feels it'll correct itself, but that wasn't very reassuring.

I was so sure I have a prolapse, but I don't. Yes I did get checked by pelvic floor specialist.
My lady parts will never look the same again, after pushing out 2 babies.
