Colostrum collection & healed nipple piercings

Hi ladies - this is such a weird one I’m so sorry 🤦🏽‍♀️

I have a question for any BF mum or colostrum collecting mum-to-be that previously had or still has a nipple piercing. I’ve been collecting colostrum for nearly 2 weeks now and find that the nipple I didn’t have pierced expresses way more than the one that was pierced (I took it out at 12 weeks so it could heal before breastfeeding).

I’m so scared this will impact my supply from that breast and was wondering if anyone had experienced the same thing or if it was normal to have one breast that produces more in general, regardless of a piercing?

It’s normal to have a slacker boob lol. I had both mine pierced and it didn’t effect my milk supply at all. With my first both of mine made a ton of milk but with this baby my left makes a ton more than my right. My left gives me about 5-6 oz and my right gives me 3-4 oz unless I sleep thru the night without pumping then both are extremely full lol but milk will come out of the holes lmao

Prior to getting mine pierced my left was my slacker fast forward after getting them pierced my left is still slacking 3 babies later 😭😂

one boob will always produce more and less lol i have both of mine pierced and im an over producer. But milk does come out faster though the holes and can make baby cough at first tho

no that’s normal babe! had both pierced for 10 years before i got pregnant and took mines out in my first trimester and my milk supply is good. i don’t think piercings affect breastfeeding at all.

Removing childs monobrow wrong or right

My sister and brother always had monobrows and were both bullied till they were old enough to remove it themselves. my middle child came out with one and I plucked it and now they're older I use wax sheets on it whenever bits start to reappear I think its basic maintenance of a child like clipping their nails or brushing their teeth

RSV Vaccine

Could really use some advise! I had the RSV vaccine at 30 weeks pregnant and 2 days later went into premature labour despite a straightforward pregnancy prior and no clear signs as to what caused this.

I have now received an appointment for my baby to have the RSV vaccine. Am I right to be apprehensive given it is such a new vaccine? What is the the right thing to do 🙈

I am not usually one to question a vaccine and he will receive all of the other vaccines without question

Magnetic tiles

Im looking to get my kiddos more magnetic tiles. They love playing with the ones they have at our local library. I have looked on Amazon but I was wondering what the best brand is? I would like a larger set and get a small tote for them.

From cosleeping to cot 13month old

Send help. I’m trying to get my EBF 13 month old to sleep in his cot, at least the first half of the night to start with.

If I transfer him and he doesn’t wake up it’s usually ok. But if he wakes up, he screams - like there’s no tomorrow! It’s so overwhelming. I end up just putting him back in the big bed with me if it’s too much.

Anyone in a similar position with any advice??
