My little girl is 16 months and had co slept with us until 14 months. She has been in a small cot in our room up until recently. Shes been in her own room a few weeks now but her sleeping is terrible. It’s taking most night 1.5/2 hours to get her to sleep. Then when she is asleep we try to creep out, the second no one is in with her she wakes up and screams. It doesn’t matter if I crawl out, do it gradually or walk out she just knows.
I’m just exhausted. I’m up half the night with her each night now, I have no evenings. She’s tired everyday because she’s not sleeping enough. It’s just exhausting. Any advice?
A big part is definitely separation anxiety, my husband thinks we need to let her cry it out… It’s a big change going in her own room without us, I just don’t know what to do for the best.
Right now everyone’s shattered.
Anyone been in a similar situation and any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks so much :)

She’s struggling being on her own so I don’t see how your husband can think that leaving her to cry on her own would help the situation 💔
I would be tempted to try putting her to bed later to see if it takes less time when she’s more tired to save your sanity.
I know it’s hard right now but I like to remind myself that everything is always a phase x
