Sex Postpartum…

Hi ladies, how long has everyone waited/plan to wait to have sex again? I had an unplanned c-section just under 5 weeks ago, but recovery has been really good so far and have been feeling ready for a while but the guidance for everything seems to be wait till at least 6 weeks. Just wondering what everyone else’s thoughts are, and anything to be aware of? 🤍

I waited 6 weeks (well 5 weeks and 5 days 🫠) but you should go with how you feel. You don’t have to go off what other people say. It’s your body if you feel you’re ready go for it

My midwife cleared me for it at 2 weeks, I planned to wait until 6 weeks because of bleeding and feeling like I was unattractive 😂
But, I got to just before 3 weeks before I caved in.
It was needed haha.

(With my natural births… I did not wait quite so long because the midwives said whenever I felt ready 🫣).

I had an episiotomy and I waited 5 weeks 5 days, that’s when I felt ready and healed enough… I would’ve done it sooner if it wasn’t for the episiotomy 😂

6 days 🤣🤣 hormones were driving me wild. Wasn't bleeding. Vaginal delivery with no complications. Naughty I know. But worth it. 🤣

I had a C-section and have a small opening so I am a bit scared but would like to get back to it 😜

Someone else posted similar earlier. NHS guidance now is actually whenever you feel ready in regards to sex PP. But bear in mind a c section is major surgery and everyone recovers differently. I had sex about 2.5 weeks PP c

Plan B or no?

Please I know I’m a dumb ass so let me just say that. My husband included. I’m 6 weeks post partum, ok to have sex again. My husband and I proceeded to have sex last night for the first time again and he did not pull out. He didn’t mean to because immediately after he realized he messed up. In his defense, we have never pulled out BUT that’s also why we have to kids close in age. However, we are done having kids and I’m going to be tying my tubes. Yes he’s still a jack ass for that and so am I.

Point is man, should I take a plan B or what should I do? :(

Finding out I’m pregnant again 5months postpartum…

So around 5 weeks ago I found out I am pregnant again. My baby is nearly 6 months now and when the second is born she will be around 13/14 months old I’m absolutely terrified as she was a c section baby and I know I’m probably going to have another c section….
She is breast fed also …

Has anyone else out there been through this already having 2 under 2 year olds, how hard is it??

any one got suggestions about stopping breast feeding before birth so second baby can have the boobs exclusively or should I start pumping and just give bottle breast milk to older child and the new born? Just looking for advice and suggestions really…

Baby boys playing with babies

What’s everyone’s opinions on boys playing with baby dolls. My little boy who’s 10 months loves playing with his baby dolls and my dad (baby’s granddad) said he shouldn’t be and he should be playing with “boys toys” I told him it will make him more caring and he will grow up to be the best dad himself. He really disagrees

Little girls heartbeat.

Can i have some advice please, my little girl as been fighting server night terrors for a few months now.
Been back and forward to the doctors with her and now they wont me to monitor her hb. So I did it lastnight and it was OK.
But I've just done it now shes lieing still in her bed, and it's 110 hb.
Im asking is this hight for a 3yr old?

4:30am wake up for cereal and tantrums

2 nights in a row now, he’s woken up from
Co sleeping with us (he’s had two weeks of being sick and just wanted to keep an eye on him) he’s woken up at 4:30am screaming like he’s in pain and pointing to our stairs. We found out he’s doing that because he is hungry….. any tips on to avoid this 4am wake up session to eat?

Also tantrums. How are we handling them? He’s only 16 months old and he’s throwing fits like he is 2, with little stompies and backing up, can’t tell if he is in pain but he’s been chomping on his fingers more lately and apparently holding his jaw according to my sister, so I’m thinking he’s teething and that’s causing him to wake and scream constantly.

Navigating politics as a mother

Has anyone really struggled meeting mum friends because of political concerns? I have always been very left wing ( pro palestine , supporting trans/gay rights , anti racism) and even more so after having a baby because I feel like i’m even more passionate to have a kind world for our children . I get a little worried when i meet other mums at baby groups that i’ll find out they’re actually right wing or against a lot of the morals i hold and i wouldn’t be able to keep that around my child . Not sure if it’s normal to feel so strongly about politics around my baby.
But also if it makes me uncomfortable then that’s also an issue i guess ?
