I feel bad for even saying this out loud because I am so unbelievably excited/grateful, happy you name it. But I keep getting waves of feeling guilty, maybe even sad that I don't get to do this again with my first born. Is this normal? I'm so excited to expand our family but there is one part of me feels guilty that my little girl has to share me.
I'm sat in tears writing this, and well aware this is probably hormones but I just needed to say it out loud.
Words of wisdom Mama's who has done this before, is this normal?

I’m a first time mum-to-be but as a middle child I can tell you your new baby could be your daughter’s best little pressie ever! When my little brother was born my mum came home from the hospital with him and my very own little baby boy doll so that I could change his nappy and feed him and do all the same things as my mum! It was so lovely and I grew up very close to my baby brother. It’s a partner in crime and someone to run around and play with and make new traditions with. I promise you lots of fab times are coming for your family ❤️

Im here with you- expecting my second when my first is still very very young and feeling guilty at times too but this new baby completes our family and my little girl now has someone to be there with her for the rest of her life x

Hey I’m on baby number 3 but I had two within 12 months and I felt the guilt when pregnant with my second and even when she was born! It’s completely normal, I think we all feel it when going from one to two. But when baby arrives and you see them both together and see the love and bond that grows between them, there truly is no better feeling and you will be soooo grateful you gave them each other!! X

I get this! I’m in the same boat and feel exactly the same. Mum guilt never ends, but I know my girl would love a little brother and sister to play with!!
