Baby slept all night 🌙🥳

Baby is 11 weeks tomorrow, and he slept through the whole night for the first time last night (in his own bed!) 💙

His dad and I were cheering and celebrating this morning!

Let's hope this is just the beginning of sleeping like this and not just a one-off 🤞

Our 9 week old pretty much sleeps through the night every night now, she’s done it a few times occasionally before but every night for the past few weeks she’s slept through! I hope it continues for you!!🤞🏼🤞🏼( before anyone jumps on me, she’s perfectly healthy and gaining weight just fine, we’ve been told we don’t have to wake her if she isn’t waking up herself)

Ahh, what time do you put your LO down? Mine has always been good for sleep but has started giving me more wake ups and shorter stretches this week - she’s 8 weeks

Navigating politics as a mother

Has anyone really struggled meeting mum friends because of political concerns? I have always been very left wing ( pro palestine , supporting trans/gay rights , anti racism) and even more so after having a baby because I feel like i’m even more passionate to have a kind world for our children . I get a little worried when i meet other mums at baby groups that i’ll find out they’re actually right wing or against a lot of the morals i hold and i wouldn’t be able to keep that around my child . Not sure if it’s normal to feel so strongly about politics around my baby.
But also if it makes me uncomfortable then that’s also an issue i guess ?

Washing powder suggestions 🫧🧼

Hey mamas, I’m due very soon and now ready to start washing our baby’s clothes/bedding/blankets (eeek!). Would love some recommendations regarding washing detergents and powders that have worked for you and whether you tumble dry too? x

Sex Postpartum…

Hi ladies, how long has everyone waited/plan to wait to have sex again? I had an unplanned c-section just under 5 weeks ago, but recovery has been really good so far and have been feeling ready for a while but the guidance for everything seems to be wait till at least 6 weeks. Just wondering what everyone else’s thoughts are, and anything to be aware of? 🤍

I feel like I regret having my daughter

I don’t need judgement. I just need to get this off my chest and maybe someone out there will understand and have some guidance for me
I went from having a sweet cuddly baby to a child that actively acts out.
I’m not talking normal act outs. I’m talking 20-30 screaming hitting meltdown tantrums a day. I’ve tried everything. Being comforting and kind. Time outs. Loud reprimand. Even spanking. I have tried everything that I’ve found. All suggestions. I’m at a complete loss. She just turned two. And all I can think of is how much she reminds me of her father. He had borderline personality disorder he also abandoned us when I was pregnant. His son I recall also had very big issues with temper. And now I hate being a mom. I spend so many of her meltdowns now just crying wondering what I did so wrong to make her so mean and hateful of me. She’s also totally different around other people that don’t live in the household… I love my baby girl but this is all too much and I don’t know how to fix it…

Cradle cap

Is it normal for my 9.5 month old to still have a small bit of cradle cap (see picture)?

Do you have any tips for how to get this off? I can’t really exfoliate properly as it’s right over his soft spot so can’t push down.

I’ve heard coconut oil is great. How would I use this? Just melt it down and apply once a day and leave on/exfoliate?

Serious baby

Is anyone else’s baby ‘serious’
My LB just turned one and whenever we go out (shops etc) people always comment on how serious he is when they say hello?
He smiles at me, his dad, friends and family he knows and people he’s met before but don’t see as often ( although may take a couple of minutes )
We went out today and the lady at the til said ‘ ohh that’s a very serious face, I’m usually good at making babies smile’
Now it’s just got me overthinking…
I thought it was normal for them to not instantly smile at strangers? Or is it just my child?
He is a very happy boy, always smiling at home, just when we’re out.
