I want to have a c section
I was told I can discuss this around 36 weeks if your given a c section date
& your waters etc break / you go into labour
I don’t know what happens
I need to read about the process but if this happens before this date can you still have a c section?

If you go into labour before your booked date when you ring the team to let them know you want to come into hospital because you’re in labour tell them you planned a section and they’ll sort it all when you get there and get you into theatre

Oh mama, take a deep breath—you've got this! I completely understand the anxiety of not knowing what happens, especially when you're a first-time mom. To answer your question: Yes, if your waters break or labor starts before your scheduled date, you can still have your C-section! You won't be forced into a vaginal birth just because baby decides to show up early. You'll just call your hospital right away, let them know your date, and they'll bring you in to do the surgery.
If you don't mind sharing, what's making you lean toward a C-section for your first? No pressure at all—I completely respect whatever you choose! (For what it's worth, I actually didn't want a C-section for my first, but ended up having one, so I've been in those shoes before.) Either way, definitely bring it up at your 36-week appointment and ask your doctor what their exact protocol is if labor starts early. Having that game plan helps so much. You are going to do great!

They might offer you to try for a vaginal birth if you want to and it’s not a medical need for a c section. If it is a medical need then you’ll go straight in for a c section and at that point it would be considered emergency. But if it’s just because you want one then you’ll just go in and they’ll fit you in
I got induced on Tuesday 18th August via pessary then after 24 hours the midwives broke my waters at 5pm yesterday. After less than 7 hours of labour I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl this morning at 12:04am and weighs 7lb 12oz. I asked for an epidural but it failed and before I knew it I had to push and she was out in a few minutes. My fourth and last baby and I'm so blessed to have her 😍🥰

I’m 17+5 and my bump has shrunk (I didn’t know this could happen?!) I have zero symptoms and I can’t feel movement (never have). I’m really panicking but I can’t get a reassurance scan anywhere. Is this normal??

Whats everyones baby’s measuring? I’m 33 weeks and baby is measuring on the 37th percentile at 4 pounds 5. Just curious if anyone else has had a growth scan and what the measurements are

So I'm 7 days pp, just had my pico dressing taken off. But I'm getting so confused, every time I'm seeing someone different (midwives, doctors) and as you can imagine everyone says something different.
Last scar I had keloid I really want to minimize the risk of it happening or at least prevent it from forming that big.
When is the best time to start using cream, belly band and silicone patches? Once they told me to use scar patches after 6 days which is when stitches dissolve, now they told me to wait 2-3 weeks.., some people after c section put the belly band next day as well.
Let me know what did work for you? Is there a general consensus?

I had my 36+4 week midwife appointment yesterday, baby is measuring 98th percentile (I know from my first that this isn't reliable). Therefore the midwife has asked for a growth scan. I'm just seeing how long it took from your midwife emailing for one before you got your appointment date? Also because I am swamped with appointments this week and next, it also took them 3 weeks to FINALLY give me my VBAC consultation appointment.... They had to email the hospital 3 times, so I'm kind of worried my scan will be the same issue.
