Most absorbent nappies for overnight

Can anyone recommend a really good absorbent nappy? My little one is 7m old and is a belly sleeper, I’m having to change his pyjamas and bedding every morning as he is totally saturated!

I initially used Asda little angels nappies but switched to pampers baby dry recently to see if they were any better, he is still leaking with those too. I have also tried adding a nappy liner into the front over night for extra protection but he is still wetting through.

Just for reference he is a big boy and in size 6/7 nappies he weighs over 30lb 🐷 I struggle to get nappies to fit around his belly, he has a bigger than average belly as well.

All of the ‘night time nappies’ in the shops are for older babies/ toddlers and are pull ups, but as I said my boy is big.. should I try these??

TIA from my laundry basket lmao xox

Are you sure you haven't gone too big with the nappies and that's the issue? My 3.5 year old is in size 7(she just has them overnight now) !! We did switch to pull ups quite early on because of leaks, I do recommend them because they just move with baby more so it's worth a try!

I have a little girl and I dont have any issues with Asda nappies but during the day I use sainsbury nappies as they dont leak her poo😂. My sister has 2 boys and has always used sainsbury nappies and hasn't ever had a problem

Fred and Flo nappies from Tesco ♥️
We also couldn’t get along with little angles be cause of leaks xx

Sleep training?

I am waiting for my daughter to be 6 months to start a sleep training method. Currently, she only does naps on me and nights are divided into two where my husband keeps her until 10:30-11:30 (she sleeps on him) and then we co-sleep. I am not sleeping obviously since she eats often or wakes up because she wants comfort🙃.

Any advice? What did you do? What do you recommend?

She’s extremely attached to both of us and we tried the cry out method when she hit the 4month regression and it was HORRIBLE. I cried with her, she was way too young. She’s 5 months now and we’re going on a trip but as soon as we’re back, for my sanity we need to do something about it🥲.

CRY IT OUT METHOD

Can I let my 6 month old “cry it out” when I’m putting her to sleep? She’s bathed, fed, cuddled, burped and just takes her time to fall asleep I have to sit next to her cot. I also have a toddler so it’s hard when I’m committing all of this to her and just letting him go to sleep it’s ruining my mental health sitting here for ages.

safe sleep?

hey guys, i’m a first time mum to an almost 5 week old baby girl. recently she has been such a velcro baby which i love but is hard because i can’t get stuff done. i have noticed the only place she will sleep is her swing during the day however this is considered not safe sleep. if i keep her in the swing in the same room as me and im always looking over at her would it be safe to keep her in there for short periods of time?

Cut toddlers bangs or grow them out?

My little one is two years old. We put her hair up or clip it back so it's not in her eyes. I had bangs when I was little and so did my sisters, so my mom naturally asked if I was going to give my daughter them. My husband has also asked me if we're going to. I'm not sure about it. Obviously if she asks for bangs when she's older she can have them, maybe I just have bad memories of trying to grow out my bangs for a while lol and having them be crooked when my mom tried to cut them herself.
