I never see posts about admiring our husband instead all i see is useless , selfish, toxic relationships. Anyways itās 3:21am and I couldnāt sleep bc our baby kept waking up needing her paci and my husband took our baby girl to go sleep in the guest room together so i can get some sleep. he also wakes up every morning and makes me 3 bottles to see me up already ahead on the morning. my hubby runs my feet every night before bed, ive never had to wash dishes or laundry bc he knows i hate those specific chores and i handle everything else. husband never learned how to cook but he started taking classes early into our relationship, he has always bin kind, consistent , and considerate and have NEVER changed we have bin together for 6 years total & married 3 years. we are not rich by any mean lol at allllll but he always makes sure we have what we need and I am blessed enough to be able to swipe his card whenever i like and it never declines. Iāve gained a lot of weight with my two pregnancies. We have two children under two and he has bin so patient and encouraging about me getting back into shape every time I criticize myself he shuts it down and just overall speaks life into me. I just wanted to rant about how grateful I am for my man and all he does and if you got a good man at home they deserve the same recognition as us mothers get all the time

āThe same recognition as us mothers get all the timeā is such a delusional statementšš

Mothers donāt get any recognition whatsoever, if anything fathers are the ones that always get recognition for the bare minimum, to say mum get recognition when mums are damned if they and damned if they donāt is ridiculous and inaccurate. No generation of mothers has ever gotten the recognition they deserve
Both of us work full-time jobs, thankfully we both leave for work first thing in the morning and have his parents to watch the baby. By the time I get off work itās 5, then he goes and cooks while I get baby time since he usually manages to get out early. After that, we eat and watch a tv series, followed by him showering then me later. Then thereās chores and other things I need to get done around the house or just adult-wise in general.
With all that said, heās been getting upset with me this week that Iām constantly on the go, trying to complete tasks. He wants more intimacy (not even sex necessarily) and it makes me feel like Iām being a shitty wife and mom not pouring as much time directly into him and the baby. But if I stop doing all the chores, it overwhelms me and everything feels chaotic. I donāt know how to win here and itās kinda breaking my heartā¦

So at our last vax (4 months) his nurse said itād probably be best to start his solids at 6 months adjusted as he was born 3 weeks premature his dr (me and babyās family dr) also said the same thing baby boy turns 5 months end of this month and whenever a family or friend is like ooou I could give you this right now Iām like well actually aha no or theyāll be like well my parents and grandparents did or well my mom has me and my ) siblings so i know what advice Iām giving you is good and theyāll be like wow just always listening to what a dr says heās your baby you can start solids when you want itās like maybe Iām just paranoid asf bc baby was in the nicu and it was rough pregnancy on the both of us but like whatāll happen if someone does give baby a little sauce right now or something they wonāt because basically no one gets left alone with him but it makes me panic when people think itās funny to suggest to do it and when did your little ones start solids and if you got any of these comments how would you start to react to them because saying well this is what their drs and nurses say just makes them laugh and ignore me and like i donāt really know what to tell anyone anymore or like am I crazy and he could start them tomorrow if he wanted

We came home from picking him up from work and Iāve been having this pain in my stomach. I told him Iām in pain I need to lay down. I had planned on making dinner when I felt better but the pain didnāt go away. Itās 9pm, and the kids havenāt eaten. I fell asleep and was expecting him to figure out what we were gonna eat. While I was asleep, the kids completely trashed the place while he was playing the game. Then he comes in the room saying āwhat are we gonna eat, if you knew you wasnāt cooking you shouldāve said that when we got home.ā On top of this, he came in the room, saw how there was trash (we have a 1 year old) on the floor, and started kicking the trash to my side of the room saying āthis is disgusting. Iām not cleaning this up why is it all on my side.ā I had to get up, make our 5 year old a quick chicken quesadilla and some sweet potato fries. He just sat there. Then after I made her food I went back to lay down and he came and tried to physically get me out of the bed saying āyou need to shower and youāre in my spot get up and go shower.ā Forces me out the bed and says heāll order something. I told him our daughter needs to get in her bedtime clothes and he needs to do night time duties with her. He didnt say or do anything. So he left it alone and after I finally got her in the bed he sat next to me and said āI donāt like eating late Iām not ordering nothing. Iām getting in the shower.ā So now I have to cook for myself or just not eat. Like I donāt understand why he has to be so harsh and manipulative. Am I tripping ?

My daughter has a lil bestie at nursery.
She is always talking about him. They run up to each other and hug etc. It's honestly the sweetest thing.
I've only ever seen his parents like once. But I'm thinking next time I see them should I just be a lil begfriend and try to start a convo with them.
Like hey our kids are friends should we be friends šš
𤣠Lord help me, I am rusty.
No but seriously.... What do you do?
Do you make friends with your toddlers friend parents or just leave it alone.
We don't have friends in this area. So it would be nice if some weekends she can just go to the park and play with him.

First things first Iām trying to be a lot better about setting boundaries and sticking to them and what I say instead of giving in. I know I probably made things harder for myself cause Iāve been pretty lenient but weāve been having a lot more outbursts with my oldest recently and I am not sure what to do about it anymore.
My son has not been listening very well to my directions and honestly just blatantly ignoring and pushing the limits lately and I donāt really know what kinds of things I can do to enforce the rules better. Heās also just been acting out like crazy and having meltdown after meltdown and talking back.
Iāve tried a time out to take him away from the whole situation and he has started to think itās funny so obviously that isnāt seeming to work. Iāve taken toys away if he hasnāt been listening to the rules with those (ex: he rides his bike where heās not allowed to/goes too far away, he got his bike taken away) which works in some situations but not all, heās gotten cartoons taken away for the day, treats taken away, etc. Iāve been really working on the natural consequences but I donāt know what a natural consequence for talking back or throwing a fit when I say no would be. Or how would you go about if your kid swung at you to hit you when theyāre angry that you said no to a popsicle for example.
Iām just really struggling with this phase of toddlerhood where a meltdown comes from anything not going his way and I understand some of the developmental stuff and whatnot but Iām losing my mind feeling like Iām butting heads with him all day everyday
