Lol I totally understand. What's so crazy is it dont get tired til the little ones get home. I think its ALL that energy they have. They never seem to run out lol. I love true crime to and history im a "critical thinker" and getting back into my hobbies outside of being a mom.

I got a job that was based about school time

Okay thats great. What do you do if you dont mind me asking?

I work as a disability worker when my babies started school, then I did a course to get certificates. which helped alot. Cause it was with in school times.
Now im healthcare in the community. Looking at doing another course in like administration or something. Doing a course at tafe or uni helps alot, they are within school terms and times. Good luck

Thats amazing. Codos to you momma for still educating yourself and doing better for your family and others families as well being in the fields you have and are in!! š«¶š½š¤

I meet other mum friends for brunch of coffee or ikeaš or I deep clean. Not just normal daily cleaning. Like on top of cupboards. Windows. Machine filters. Walls, doorknobs. Oven racks (I soak them overnight)ā¦.Steam clean all the fabric dining chairs, bed heads. This weekend I borrowed a pressure washer to do the back and front pavement and driveway area. And I go gym every other day, and I have salsa classes at night at 7, Tuesdays and Fridays. Fridays is the one I dress up for, itās my social life as well. That also led me to learning Spanish on the side coz most bachata/salsa songs are Spanish and I want to understand the music Iām dancing to.

My husband is "forcing" me to take it easy today because I stress cleaned the house for the last 2 weeks before school started. So far I have walked around in circles, made and drank coffee, attempted to play House Flipper but the jobs make me want to clean irl, did paperwork for upcoming doctors appointments, made phone calls, texted all the people I know, prepped a bunch of veggies, and have been staring at Peanut. I still have 5 hours to go š

Working out !! Group classes are the best

If you canāt drive I think my #1 priority would be to get my license. Being literally prisoner at home in 4 walls would drive me insaneā¦I would be catching transport to go here and there and in the meantime trying to get license but thatās me. Once you get your license, you can literally do all the things that are mentioned in this post when you asked for suggestions of what to do while kids are at school. Being able to go anywhere anytime is my freedom as a sahm. Maybe use those school hours to take lessons??

Running is my go to hobby when I have me time. I also love walking and reading, swimming, and gym time when I can. Other hobbies I have gone through include crocheting, rock climbing, yoga, arts and crafts, organizing and decorating, and drawing. Sometimes I just pick something I want to learn about and start studying. I really want to start gardening eventually. When I have a yard or a porch again.
You're going out to the playground for an hour and they've been asked to take their washing out once the machine is finished.
But... The child lock is on and it doesn't open. They've never used this fairly new WM before.

Me and my partner have been together 10 years and Iām almost 9 months pregnant with my second
I feel like he doesnāt even try to bond with the bump
Every time baby moves/kicks I get excited and say LOOK or Come feel and he just says āew it freaks me outā
I feel like Iāve expressed the need and support that I need over and over again Iām tired of the one always cleaning, washing, planning things.
Iāve been the one to buy most of the baby stuff, only thing he bought was the pram in March even though my income is 3X less than what he makes
I try to get him involved in the decisions as little as what outfits weāre buying/ first outfit home etc but just feel like he couldnāt care less
He stays up till 4am all the time playing his games then wakes me up getting into bed with his phone or with him moving around and then expects me to wake him up in the mornings and it drives me insane as we already have another child who wakes up at 6am every morning and Iām the one constantly up and making breakfasts, cleaning etc whilst he knows Iām up and down all night needing to pee, drink so Iām not even getting full sleep myself
He doesnāt keep track of any of my appts, feel like he doesnāt pay attention to anything I say
Canāt remember the last time I got some flowers or even heard a āim proud of you and all this hard work youāre doing and going throughā
I donāt have a mum, my dad lives in a different country and I have no mum friends and just want someone to be excited with me or feel listened to is that too much to ask for ? Am I just feeling it more because of my hormones or should I stand my ground even if it causes a argument

Hi,
Iām writing this with full acceptance that I may come off as a little childish to be so upset about this situation as I understand toddlers and children in general like to stay with their grandparents (who are fun) often.
A little bit of background on the situation, my parents have been a huge part of my village and are the only reliable village I have, I am extremely lucky to have them as usually always if I ask for childcare they say yes⦠I love how close my toddler (age 2.5) is to them, from the get go they have always been very active and involved grandparents, my toddler actually stays at their house overnight 2-3x a week due to my night shifts and I understand he loves being there.
Whatās upsetting me however is my toddler is always very excited to go there, which is great, but when he comes home (sometimes it can be 3 days later if Iāve done 2 night shifts) he will be really upset and doesnāt want to come home, he doesnāt actually ask about me when heās there⦠he never asks to come home. itās like he hasnāt missed me either and genuinely just prefers being there. My Mum told me when she was bringing him home today he said he didnāt want to come home. After she left, he immediately asked to go back. It feels like heās closer to them than me.
Any advice on this is welcome or even if anyone has gone through similar. As I say I know I may sound a little childish.

Some days I really can not be bothered to go outside because itās draining so sometimes Iām at home for 4 days straight until my son goes to my mums for the day and me and my daughter go for a stroll is this bad? I just donāt enjoy going outside with two kids feels like torture anyone in the same boat?
We donāt have a garden so I sometimes feel guilty!

So my daughter turns 3 next Saturday and yesterday we went to pick her scooter with her for her birthday. I said to my partner that she shouldnāt have to wait until next week and there is no harm in her having it now, he on the other hand said that he never got any of his presents early so she has to wait until next week to get it. I then tried to reason with him that she wants to go to the zoo for her birthday which we obviously wonāt take the scooter to so sheās not even going to get to ride it on that day. He still said she has to wait. Who would you side with?

Hi all!
I think my 4.5 month old baby has started to teeth?
Heās drooling a lot more and hands constantly in his mouth or his toys!š
Also heās sucking his lips in too
Heās not looking particularly uncomfortable but had a check of his gums and the top gums look more pink!
It could be all development related but just wanted to see if it could be teething š
