Am I being hormonal and dramatic

Me and my partner have been together 10 years and I’m almost 9 months pregnant with my second
I feel like he doesn’t even try to bond with the bump
Every time baby moves/kicks I get excited and say LOOK or Come feel and he just says “ew it freaks me out”
I feel like I’ve expressed the need and support that I need over and over again I’m tired of the one always cleaning, washing, planning things.
I’ve been the one to buy most of the baby stuff, only thing he bought was the pram in March even though my income is 3X less than what he makes
I try to get him involved in the decisions as little as what outfits we’re buying/ first outfit home etc but just feel like he couldn’t care less
He stays up till 4am all the time playing his games then wakes me up getting into bed with his phone or with him moving around and then expects me to wake him up in the mornings and it drives me insane as we already have another child who wakes up at 6am every morning and I’m the one constantly up and making breakfasts, cleaning etc whilst he knows I’m up and down all night needing to pee, drink so I’m not even getting full sleep myself
He doesn’t keep track of any of my appts, feel like he doesn’t pay attention to anything I say
Can’t remember the last time I got some flowers or even heard a “im proud of you and all this hard work you’re doing and going through”
I don’t have a mum, my dad lives in a different country and I have no mum friends and just want someone to be excited with me or feel listened to is that too much to ask for ? Am I just feeling it more because of my hormones or should I stand my ground even if it causes a argument

So sorry that you’re having a hard time especially when you’re so close to baby being born, it must be stressful working through how you feel about the relationship.

But, I think you know the answer, you are definitely not asking for too much, you’re asking for the bear minimum and he’s not delivering. It sounds like you’re doing this alone, even with him there.

I would say talk to him to put all this on the table, however don’t go into it expecting he’s magically going to change. If this has been going on for most of the 10 years then the likelihood is that this is just who he is & he’ll see no wrong in it.

These are the men that claim the “break up came out of nowhere”. Do you have any friends at work that you could confide in?

My partner is exactly the same. Definitely get the drift you feel the same as I do, single in a partnership x

As harsh as it sounds if they wanted to they would I argue with my partner now and then and he always understands in the end he does absolutely everything he can to help he also works 12 hour shifts including nights and still gets up for our 2 year old your asking for the bare minimum he needs to realise I hope your okay 🩷

If you are by yourself, after you’ve filled your car with fuel do you take your baby in to the kiosk to pay or leave them in the car?

Family drama/disagreements

I’m sure it’s more common than anyone would like to admit. For anyone who has gone through a pregnancy and had family issues/drama, how did you cope? What boundaries did you end up creating? I have a difficult mother who tends to be judgmental about my choices, and she’s recently made my partner uncomfortable with the idea of her being around our babygirl without him being around. I respect that as he is my partner and honestly it would save me some stress too. At the end of the day, she is my mom and our daughter’s grandma though and I don’t want to burn a bridge if I don’t have to. You know? Any advice on how to navigate this?

Overreacting or just pregnancy hormones and insecurity?

I'm a Ftm and I'm very relatively young I've been having partner issues I feel very strongly that he's cheating tbh he's cheated before and I forgave him due to us having a baby boy otw and I don't want to raise him in a broken household.we have our good moments where I forget the bad but I have moments where I don't feel loved I don't feel attractive and genuinely feel depressed and he dismisses it and me every night he's out late like 12-3 in the morning and makes it seem like I'm asking for to much when I ask him to be home at a reasonable time during the day he's constantly out the house and I'm always stuck in bc he has the car I basically paid for but isn't in my name bc I don't have my license I'm lonely all the time he's isolated from the friends I had and it's so hard to make new ones when I'm constantly stuck in the house idk what to do I'm financially dependent on him and would have nowhere to go if I leave I'm just hurt and anytime I express it or cry he says if something happens to the baby because I'm crying and stressing the blame is gonna be all on me making me feel guilty for feeling how I do I gave so much up for this man I just can't believe he's doing me like this

My husband 😡

We have ants sooooo bad. They are in our pantry sooo bad. Eating up and getting into our food. I was upstairs with my toddler, came downstairs and into the kitchen to see him spraying highly toxic pesticides. These pesticides are so toxic. You’re supposed to wear a mask and gloves while spraying them. It’s also not an indoor pesticide it’s meant for outdoors because you’re not supposed to breathe it in. He was spraying it in our pantry with our food in the pantry. Our pantry is so full with hundreds of dollars worth of food in there. I don’t wanna throw it out, but I don’t wanna be unsafe. I have a toddler and I’m six months pregnant… should I throw the food out? I don’t know what to do. I chewed my husband out for it. He somehow doesn’t seem anything wrong with it.. I felt this was really out of character for him. He’s always really safe and really smart about things. 🤦🏻‍♀️ what do I do? He only sprayed the ceiling and the top of the walls, but there is a top shelf a few inches down.

Can you help me understand a cultural difference?

I (from the South) married into a Mexican family and I truly love them dearly. However, there are still things I’m trying to figure out with culturally.

My husband’s family insisted on planning my baby shower and is taking care of everything so I don’t have to stress about it. I was able to choose all the theme but other than that, everything else was being handled. Originally they were serving birria because it’s a food I really love and have been able to stomach throughout my pregnancy. However, my father-in-law requested for ceviche to be served instead. Two weeks before the shower, I find out the menu was changed to ceviche. When I asked the family about it and explained due to it being raw fish that’s something I cannot eat while pregnant, they responded that I could order a pizza and bring it with me to the party… I’m truly confused on if this is normal in Mexican culture. Is it when a man asks for something that’s the finale decision or if this was just a weird coincidence?

If you have experiences or explanations I would love if you could please share them. I’m truly not trying to complain. I just want to learn my husband’s culture better day by day.

Thank you.
